Cheap but dated

Staff were friendly and COVID aware. Hotel is dated and basic. The spa was closed and there were works ongoing on the terrace. The beach was also not very inviting due to large amounts of rubbish. However, my visit was off season and the hotel were making an effort to improve things. Breakfast was great 😊

Excellent place to stay longer

Villa RETA is actually well known for Spa-therapy facilities and its own beach with special black sands with magnetic properties that help with locomotoric issues. Regardless of its sanitarium status, it is very pleasant hotel with excellent staff, wonderful restaurant, clean and well equipped room, in middle of pristine nature and quiet. I take every opportunity to stay there, and enjoy all it has to offer, especially superb local cuisine.

Med direkte adgang til sandstrand og Sortehavet ligger dette hotel tæt på Nationalpark og kun 60 km fra Batumi. Personalet taler kun meget sparsomt engelsk. Maden i restauranten virker hovedsagelig som halvfabrikata og er ikke spændende.

In sintesi non è un 4 stelle, un hotel simile in Italia non costerebbe più di 30 euro per notte. Il personale parla solo in Goergiano. La colazione internazionale a buffet non esiste. Il menu del ristorante propone un infinità di pietanze mai disponibili. La connessione internet wifi lascia molto a desiderare. La pubblicizzata SPA e servizi annessi non era operativa.
