We had a wonderful stay at the Villa!! The property was private. And the view was unbelievable!! It was an easy walk to several restaurants and a grocery store. The property host Giorgia was easily accessible and accommodating! She responded quickly! We highly recommend eating at her family restaurant! It was magnificent and the included breakfast was out of this world!

Perfection. This place was stunning. Every single detail was covered. Our host was amazing, great communication, she thought of everything. Our flight was cancelled and we ended up commuting in late, she shared local contacts to make it easier for us. Then she arranged for us to have a late dinner. Truly she thought of everything. The beds were comfortable. The villa was beautiful. The espresso was plentiful. The breakfast included was delicious. We were so well cared for.

Beautiful accommodations

The Villa is wonderful and situated above the hustle and bustle of Positano Center. The view is amazing and the quiet setting makes for a relaxing stay. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance and a grocery store. Highly recommend stay here.

Wonderful Stay in Positano

The Villa was updated and perfect for our family of 5. Villa located in a cute village at the top of the mountains. Views were beautiful!! Georgia was very helpful with our many questions, and was able to provide taxi contacts. We had breakfast at the affiliated restaurant La Tagliata, wonderful people and a feast every time! Would stay again!

Great place to enjoy Beautiful Positano - Bonus Amazing Food

Beautiful property, I only wish we had more than 3 nights here. Highly recommend booking longer if you can manage it. 1) Very clean 2) Super comfortable beds 3) Amazing views that can't be beat 4) Associated with their family restaurant, where we had the best meal of our entire trip! Highly recommended on all fronts.

The Views from the patio are stunning

The overall stay was awesome and convenient to some exquisite cuisine in Positano/Montepertoso. Giorgia was very helpful and a great hostess. The down side is there is absolutely no windows or view from the second room which was a bummer and had I known I would have chosen a different property because there were two couples and it wasn't really fair for any of us not to have view for what we paid. We did take advantage of eating at their restaurant and so glad we did! - they are a wonderful family and love to eat good food. I would highly recommend their cooking class if you have the time, we regret not doing so after watching their guests having the time of their life during their cooking class. I would stay here again if the other room didn't factor in and not having bathrooms near our room was alittle tricky during the night. We forfeited the closest bathroom to our friends that didn't have a view at from their bedroom so we chose to go through the living to the kitchen area where the secondary bathroom is because we had the room with a view. The patio and view is absolutely the best part! - so I would recommend spending all your time on the patio sipping a great bottle of wine. Gratzie a mille for all you did for us!

Positano stop on our Italy trip

Hands down our favorite place during our 2 week trip through Italy. The villa was absolutely stunning and our host Giorgia went above and beyond! Coming from America and was traveling in a rental car was a bit challenging as the road is 1 lane and very curvy. She immediately came to find us and got us all situated. From the time we got there till we left, she assisted us with our itinerary. This gorgeous villa is completely family ran including the restaurant just down the road. La Tagliata was hands-down, our favorite restaurant out of all that we went to during our trip through Italy. We had the pleasure to meet the grandparents all the way down to cousins working in the restaurant they were so kind and made our dining experience so much fun with laughter and stories that we could’ve stayed all night listening to. If you are looking at this listing, I cannot recommend enough that you should stop searching and book it! We are already planning the next time we will be coming back.

Amazing Amalfi Experience

We had an amazing stay at Villa La Tagliata! The views are amazing and the place was very clean. Our host was super friendly and the family restaurant was great! The walk down the steps and back up in to town is a good workout and the views on the walk are beautiful. The town shuttle is a great alternative option but can get crowded and confusing during peak hours. Would absolutely come back!!

A stay we will never forget!

Oh my gosh, Villa La Tagliata was absolutely fantastic. Not only were the accommodations exceeding our expectations, the family is so incredibly helpful, welcoming, and kind. We were delayed a bit due to the roads being closed for the bike race, our ferry taking a bit longer to get in than anticipated, and us overestimating our ability to walk up to the villa…not only were they patient with us, we truly felt like we walked into our home when we arrived. We also did dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. I honestly have no words, it was one of the most fantastic (and delicious) experiences I’ve ever been able to have. Thank you so much for the beautiful memories we were able to make at Villa La Tagliata!

Excellent host, apartment and location!

Giorgia was so nice and helpful! The apartment was beautiful and in an excellent location right by a bus stop to take you to Positano! It would have been incredible if the hot tub was open but everything was perfect! Highly recommend this apartment and their restaurant!

Positive in Positano

Giorgia couldn’t have been more helpful, the apartment is absolutely spotless, and fitted out beautifully, comfortable bedrooms, lovely bathrooms, great kitchen with decent fridge & dishwasher. Beer & wine were in the fridge, and even some home made lemon cakes! There are aircon units in the lounge, kitchen & both double bedrooms. There is a covered outdoor terrace, with an outside plumbed bath, & wood fired hot tub. There is also a new clothes washer & dryer. It’s a must that you visit the family restaurant, the food is fabulous from locally sourced ingredients. We will definitely go back!

Perfect three days in Montepertuso

We loved our stay at Villa la Tagliata. The photos don't do the property justice. The home is spacious and it includes the two level patio. The views are amazing and the host Georgia was great. Be sure to eat at the families restaurant, La Tagliata, you'll feel like family. Some tips: Get the smallest car you can, the roads are tiny. Parking in Positano is unlikely so keep your car parked in Montepertuso and either take the bus or get a taxi. Both are about a 20 minute ride.

Gorgeous villa and view!

Giorgia has the loveliest villa with breathtaking views. It was spotless and well-appointed. Her welcoming personality was delightful and she was so thoughtful and caring. We enjoyed being away from the hectic center of Positano though the bus stop was a minute walk away. There is a cute market a short walk away as well to pick up provisions if wanted. The family restaurant is a must. We had a wonderful week and would highly recommend this villa.

Stunning

An absolute dream! Georgia was the most amazing host and took such great care of us. The views seem too good to be true but trust me...they are even better than the pictures if that's even possible. The villa had so much space, very quiet and we slept so well. The last day of our trip we cancelled all plans so we could just hang out on the porch. I loved staying in Montepertuso as it was quaint and quiet compared to the busy town of Positano. There is a little market just 3 minutes away and several restaurants. Make sure to go enjoy Georgia's family restaurant, La Tagliata where they will treat you like you are part of the family. I could go on and on...what an incredible place!

Impeccable views in a beautiful & private location

The villa was incredible, situated perfectly above Positano. We loved how we were removed from the busy city center, but still close enough to everything we needed. The views were stunning, and probably better than most homes down in Positano. One day we decided to skip the beach and just lay out on the patio and relax in the jacuzzi instead, and couldn’t have been happier with the decision. The home was exactly as described, if not better. Plus Giorgia’s family made us feel right at home, their restaurant was absolutely to die for. Their cooking class is a must, it was one of the highlights of our vacation. Just be sure to come with an empty stomach, they will make sure you leave with a full belly! We couldn’t recommend this place more!

The 5 star reviews are accurate, we loved the place.

The listing is accurate. The place was spotless. Drop dead gorgeous views. The family who own it and the local restaurant were excellent to deal with. We actually liked Montepusto just as much or more than Positano. Great hiking nearby, but fitness is a must, as there is no flat ground around. We had a lot of fun with the cooking class. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing Host

Giorgia and family are the most amazing host I have ever had . I highly recommend the property is gorgeous with the most spectacular views. They treated us like family and went above and beyond in accommodating our every need! Beautiful family and truly special people ❤️ We will back.
