The location is right on the beach. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and nice. Most rooms do not have ocean view. There was sand in the sheets. I believe the sheets were clean, but the sand was probably a result of sand in the mattress pad or bedspread. The room had a strong smell. I think the smell was probably cheap cleaner or soap. The smell remained even after opening the windows and turning on air conditioning. I wouldn’t stay here again, but again want to mention how nice the front desk staff was (and no, I didn’t complain to her about the odor, because there wouldn’t have been anything she could do to change the situation in the time we were there). I usually like to focus only on the positives, but anyone with sensitivity to odors should be aware.

If you’re not planning on spending too much time at the hotel itself this works just fine. You could even cook if you wanted, there’s plates and pots in the cabinets.

Very nice location near the beach. Steve was very nice and accommodating with our late check in. The only negatives were the room smelled like cigarette smoke and the vent to the bathroom needs cleaned as debris would blow into shower.

We loved the location - and the price! Enjoyed having our coffee on our patio with a great view of the ocean. When you live in Texas -- being near the ocean- well there is nothing like it!

Great visit

Very clean, spotless in fact. Staff was marvelous, friendly and very helpful. It is about 1/3 mil north of Ashworth Hotel. but easily walkable to casino, restaurants etc. . I loved that it had a full fridge, a stove with an oven, a keurig and a toaster, and no carpet on the floors! Not one allergy all weekend ! You didn't have to eat out if you didn't want to. Wi fi and tv...beds were very comfortable and they supplied blankets as the nights were chilly. I did a lot of walking, probably about 10-15 miles, all told, but I love the beach any time of the year so I loved it.

For the room price it cannot be beat. Just a few minute-walk to the beach, so we were able to get up early and walked to the beach to watch the beautiful sunrise at Hampton Beach, which became one of our most unforgettable moments for our trip. We then walked to a cafe called Lola's kitchen to have coffee and breakfast. Their food was so delicious and the owners were so sweet.

Stayed at this motel 3 days for leisure with my wife. Decent for the price. Needs some updating and a good room refresh. Room was not the cleanest or the most updated. Drywall on the ceiling was damaged, floor was dirty. Found hair from previous guest on the floor under a chair. Location was decent. Walkable to the beach and boardwalk. Staff was excellent. Very accommodating. Would recommend if you’re on a budget but there are better options if you have a little extra money to spend. You get what you pay for.

This was the first time we stayed there, and we have stayed at many different ones over the years. Breakers by the Sea is awesome. The room was clean and we couldn't believe there was a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, table for 2, and the balcony with a table for two. The bed was so comfortable that I teased my husband and said let's take it home! Thank you.

The property is over priced it is a low grade motel mold in the shower, ceiling falling down a D grade motel at $177 a day what a ripoff! The bathroom was so small I could not close the bathroom door when I was in the bathroom. The room I selected ( ocean view) was not the room I got ( adjacent building and part ocean view) When selecting this motel from the pictures on hotel.com they never vetted this motel and they misrepresented this property also!
