Very friendly staff, Somewhat dated hotel

This is a somewhat dated (quirky even?) hotel with very friendly staff. The hotel is well-worn, but our rooms were big by European standards. The bed was reasonably comfortable. Shower, while it took a bit to figure out how to turn it on, produced a good flow of plenty warm water. Parking on street after 7pm and before 9am is free. The carpet could be replaced, as it’s dated. Hotel is on a main boulevard and is convenient to all sorts of food and the theatre. All told, I would stay there again for the right price.

Gorizia: fine choice.

Room was quiet, clean, and staff were helpful and cheerful. We arrived at the same time as a Harley Davidson group that had cycled up from Rome! Things were a little chaotic at check in but staff worked hard and pulled things together.
