Very compact but well-designed & well-equipped. Provided the weather is suitable ( not too hot or not too much sunlight) the glassed-in semi-outdoor dining area adds a roomy addition to the space with a lovely atmosphere. The large private outdoor patio is a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The neighbourhood is quiet. The window/door shutters keep the light out for good night's sleep. The work space is small but adequate for desk work. Cafés and restaurants are abundant with several supermarkets nearby. We could reach many major tourist spots on foot as well as by metro; super convenient. The only issue we encountered was acoustic separation in the building; heavy footsteps from the unit above could wake you up if you're a light sleeper. Ear plugs were thoughtfully provided. Otherwise, we had a very good stay at this charming Almada Apartment. The staff were very communicative and caring (welcome drinks were greatly apprecaited!) We appreciated the early check-in for a fee which turned out to be more economical and handy compared to use a luggage storage service. Highly recommended.
