This is a beautiful boutique hotel with a lovely mood and charming atmosphere. The breakfast was absolutely excellent—couldn’t have been better. However, I traveled with my mom and sister and booked the apartment-type room. After checking in, we found out that the apartment is in a completely separate building. We had to cross the border, walk uphill, and take a different street for about 4–5 minutes to reach it. My mom has a bad knee, so going back and forth every morning for breakfast was difficult. Also, taxis cannot come directly to the entrance of the separate building because the road is pebbled. This meant we had to walk out to the main road with our luggage, which was an unnecessary hassle when traveling with an elderly parent. Overall, the hotel itself is lovely, but the separate apartment location was inconvenient for our situation.

Wondering Porto Accommodations

We stayed in an apartment in their second building on the Rua das Flores, a pedestrian only street. The apartment was spacious and stylish and well located for everything we wanted to do. Although our apartment was on the 3rd floor with no elevator, the staff was so helpful in bringing our luggage to us and bringing it back down when we checked out. The breakfast was amazing and I can’t compliment the staff enough for their service. Our morning waiter, George, was just awesome. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
