Nice spot we stayed one night. Very clean. Parking was a nice option to have off street and gated. You will need to stop on the street and open the gate first just be mindful traffic because you have to block one lane of traffic to do so.

Very spacious, close to cafes and grocery stores. Distance from the old town was greater than expected. Guests need to know there is a second flight of stairs within the unit - not a problem for us but it could be challenging for some.

Good location and friendly staff

Hotel well located, in the center of Porto, close to restaurants, transport and attractions. The house is beautiful, old, like a guesthouse (not a hotel itself). Easy checkin, comfortable apartment, simple bathroom. There is no breakfast, but a coffee maker in the room. Parking is paid but not disclosed on the website when we made the reservation. As it is an old building, the floor makes a lot of noise because it is made of wood, and unfortunately guests do not respect the silence.

Full of character

Very nice place, full of character. Lovely high ceilings, beautiful garden and great location. Minor detail but there was a constant funny smell of damp, that we could feel when arriving to the flat. It wasn't very strong but just a bit annoying. The hotel has no allocated parking, even though it says there's parking available. This is pay parking by the roadside.

Lovely hotel !

what a fantastic hotel. We had a lovely room with all the amenities that you would need. The host João was really friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and comfortable. We had a double balcony which was great too. Would definitely come back to this hotel. We loved the coffee machine! I highly recommend this place !

Booked this room because the hotel was listed as an airport hotel. It is a.fifteen to twenty minute drive away from the airport. When we got there there was no one answering the Bell. There was a mixup communicating our time of arrival so when we arrived no one was there. There was a phone number outside but we couldnt use our phones so we had to stand outside with all our luggage at 11pm until we asked the bartender a couple doors down to call for us. When an employee did arrive to let us in a couple minutes later he was very helpful in checking us in. The room and the property were lovely and I would maybe stay there again if I was looking to see Porto for a few days but it is not a good choice for an overnight layover.

Fake description, place is on a second floor not first, without elevator, and with steep stairs, then the A/C was not working, temperature outside was around 95 but inside the room was about 110, felt like a sauna... we complained with a clerk but between her lack of english nor spanish it was like talking to a wall, a total disaster

A gem

From the outside you may think you have arrived at the wrong place as it doesn’t look like a hotel at all but once inside you find you are in a grand and beautifully kept old Portuguese house. The rooms are large and clean with balcony and access to fabulous garden. It is well located with good transport links. It’s like having the key to your own apartment rather than a hotel. Definitely recommend this place
