we were on the back side of a double sided hotel, but walk around and there was a to die for view. the pool was perfect! not large, but warm and clean and comfortable and indoors. the staff was wonderful, friendly, accommodating, kindly.

The bathroom was small and tight. On the first floor, the ocean view from the front deck was nonexistent. The sand dune and grass blocked any view of the ocean. The stairs leading to the upper floor was also in the view.

Just about as close as you can get to the pier. 5 stars for that. The ocean side 2nd floor has one of the best views for any hotel at old orchard beach. The staff is constantly on patrol around the property. This makes you feel more secure. We stayed on the side overlooking the parking lot. Not a great view but you get value. As for sleeping, the outside lights are too bright. I would highly recommend the hotel upgrading to room darkening shades. The beds are very creaky as well. Also the train runs by during the middle of the night blasting the horn and waking everyone up. But this is not the hotels fault. Overall i would recommend this hotel to just about anyone. You honestly cant beat the location and the staff is excellent.

The motel is close to the pier and all other restaurants. The rooms were clean. Nice view of the ocean and pier.

Couldn’t ask her a better view… Right on the ocean. Just gorgeous. Friendly owner… Called about the TV and he came right up and showed us how to use it. The bed was comfortable. However, it was very dated. Ugly wallpaper print. Old showerhead and low intensity. Stove top was very old. We stayed there because we wanted a pool, but the second day there was a basketball team there and the pool is very very small. Not full pool size and more like one family at a time type pool. Not dirty, but again, it’s been a long time since it’s seen any sort of update.

Pros: beachfront, fair price, clean room Cons: open balcony on beachfront allowed smokers to smoke on the deck in front of room…because we had chain smokers staying next door, the outside area was constantly filled with cigarette smoke so we were not able to enjoy the deck. Uncomfortable mattress

Basic, Clean Stay on the Beach

While this property is very old and worn, it was clean, quiet and oceanfront. It was priced appropriately and we had a great stay. We needed a quiet, restful stay and that’s what we got. It’s older and has motel vibes but definitely it definitely served its purpose b

This was our first visit to this part of the East Coast. We went at a bad time given most everything was already closed for the season. The probably wasn’t bad but if you’re a light sleeper this might not be the best option. The walls are very thin. I could hear loud tv off one wall, people talking off another wall, walking on the ceiling. Hear toilet flushes every time. We did not have ocean view, no biggie. What’s great is it’s literally there on the beach, convenient for sunrises and sunsets. I’ll probably pick a different place next time or try for ocean view.

Great place right on the beach

This motel is older, but well maintained & clean. The bonus was having a room ocean side, where you can walk out to the beach from your front door or keep your windows open as you fall asleep to the sounds of the sea.
