Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have vacationed at CSB for many years and this year did not disappoint! Selah by the Sea was a really beautiful house. Lots of room to spread out. The splash pool was small for sure, but a nice spot to relax after a day in the ocean. The beds were comfortable and the triple decks were amazing for surf watching. Coastal Joe as always was a great property management group. Already picking dates for 2026!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Family of 9 had the most amazing experience staying at “Selah By The Sea”!This home provides breathtaking views from all three decks. Extremely easy and quick access onto the beach. The elevator servicing all floors was hugely useful for luggage, groceries and the weak knees of a couple of our elderly family members. Heating and cooling are zoned which worked perfectly, huge hot water heater - 9 people showering, doing laundry & dishes and we never lacked hot water! I truly believe this home is located on the best section of the beach and Peninsula - sunrises and sunsets were outstanding. Perfect accommodations - beds, furniture, appliances, cookware, BBQ grills, everything was great and we can’t wait stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this house! My parents went with us, so the elevator was a must. The pool was an excellent place to cool off, small but effective. The porches, wow, absolutely wonderful. Being so close to the beach was fantastic! Sitting on the porch felt like you were on the beach. The top porch was our favorite place at night. We got some beautiful pictures of the milkway over the ocean. The location on the cape is wonderful! The last step on the stairs to the beach drops down 2-3 feet and we reported to the Coastal Joe and they responded almost immediately that they would bring to attn of owner to address. In the meantime, we had kind neighbors that let my parents use their boardwalk to get to the beach. The house was great and very clean. Beds were all very comfortable. Kitchen is decently stocked.

2022 Vacation

The house was exactly what we were looking for in size and location. We were really disappointed in the trash cans outside being full and not be able to use them until after trash pickup on Monday when we arrived Saturday. The pool was another disappointment. It was full of sand and not working. Pool company came and checked it and we were told they would come back to clean it out but never showed back up.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: location is great and as of June 2025, the beach is wide. Pool is tiny but stayed nice and refreshing. Beds are comfortable. Cons: last step to the sand is about 24in down. Ants in the kitchen and bedrooms. Various lightbulbs out. Dishwasher door is about to fall off, cabinet with trashcans doesn't close, the kitchen wasn't clean. They delivered a new coffee maker because both were growing mold/mildew inside. The one upstairs is still nasty. Lots of mildew on doors and vents in upstairs bathrooms. A little love could make this place fantastic but it def needs some attention.

Perfect Place for February

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were fortunate to enjoy Selah by the Sea for the month of February. This home exceeded our expectations in every way. The home is finished and furnished very nicely, even the sheets were of high quality. The deck furniture on each level was appreciated. This home is in a special location because you see primarily the dunes of Rish Park as you look north. The views from each floor are fantastic and sunset watching is a nightly must. The kitchen is very well stocked and it was so nice to have a water filter. There are many thoughtful touches such as games and puzzles provided in the tv cabinet. This was our first time renting a home on the Cape with an elevator. It was super helpful for moving in and groceries. The home was very clean on our arrival. We noticed a couple of minor items that needed attention such as loose towel hooks and some light bulbs that were out. Coastal Joe sent someone over the same day. The Coastal Joe staff are fantastic to work with. They are all very helpful, friendly, and responsive. Thank you to Mary, Holly, and Britney at Coastal Joe. We look forward to returning to Selah by the Sea next year.

Fully stocked kitchen was a happy surprise (spices even!). Pool and shower house were great; no getting wet all over when you just needed to rinse your feet. Everything was so very clean and the wine was a gracious touch. Inspirational quotes all over. Decor lovely and soothing. the view was awesome and we saw the Milky Way one evening. No disappointments whatever. Beds were comfy, linens soft. Complimentary toiletries were nice too. Gorgeous place and location! We were MOST pleased!

Beautiful Home on one of the Best Beaches on the Cape

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was just beautiful and the owner clearly put a lot of thought into making it very special. A partially shaded pool, private boardwalk to the beach, a filtered water faucet in the kitchen, extra comfortable beds and linens, well stocked kitchen (nice quality pots, pans and even an air fryer), etc. A very kind welcming gift. Best of all? Sweeping views of the water from virtually every window. The pics don't fully capture how amazing the views are from all over the main floor (as well as the bedrooms). Our visit was extra special as we had 6 baby loggerheads find their way into the pool. Someone left their house lights on behind us and confused them (they mistook the lights for the moon and headed away from the ocean). SO we got to save the little guys and work with Turtle Patrol to "rescue" a few more. A very special experience. We've been coming to the Cape for about 20 years--and this is one of the best parts of the beach. The Rish Park is to your right--so there is almost no one on that stretch of beach. Very peaceful and private. In conclusion, we very much enjoyed Selah by the Sea and would highly recommend it. We will definitely come back. Thanks for a great vacation!

We loved that all the bedrooms had private baths, the kitchen was gorgeous and fully stocked with beautiful ocean views. The boardwalk to the beach is literally attached to the bottom patio. The house is in a great location with Rish park close by on one wide with beautiful views of their sand dunes. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great Stay for those with Senior Family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything described in the home’s description is exceeded, making the stay perfect for visitors with elderly guests.! The home’s layout is perfect, the elevator allows for easy mobility and the walk to the beach is provided by a boardwalk that dead ends into the sand with no steps up and down. The fourth bedroom is really a loft area with a pullout sofa bed and bunkbed area, but very adequate for any guest. Suggest you rent a beach wheelchair to transport guests with mobility problems to the shoreline, we did and the task was easy.The kitchen layout is perfect, home is comfortable, well decorated and generally very clean. Highly recommend this property.

Great Rental in Perfect Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a week in Selah by the Sea and the home was beautiful. The location is perfect right on the beach with easy steps to the gulf and gorgeous sunsets. The home advertises 4 bedrooms and that is not the case. The 4th bedroom is on the 4th floor put there are no walls for privacy. There are two uncomfortable bunks and a pull-out queen sofa but the entire area is open to the stairs. This is a 3 bedroom home with a second seating area. Don't expect to have good cell coverage as it is almost non-existent but that is good if you are on vacation. You have no choice but to unwind and enjoy your beautiful surroundings. Overall we had a wonderful vacation with our family.
