The townhouse was as we expected. Location was not a bad walk to the beach. We had everything we needed. Management was very quick to respond to our needs. I would recommend this location to others.

Great stay. Super nice. Weather messed up our plans, so we couldn't enjoy the property fully. Super comfy, super clean, pet friendly. Great time. Would recommend highly.

These properties are nice but the company can be hard to get in contact with. We had an issue with the keycode for the door at arrival and the host never even got back to me. Thankfully the property manager answered and was able to get us inside. Other than sometimes poor communication is was a very pleasant trip and we very much enjoyed the townhouse!

This property really fit our needs. The playground, pickleball courts, and proximity to the beach were our main draws. We also enjoyed how close it was to the state park. Everything was clean and well-kept at the condo.

Great location

This property was perfect for my family of four and dog. The description and pictures are accurate for the listing. The beach is a short walk and is beautiful! The property is also close to restaurants and general store. We would stay here again.

We spent most of our time enjoying the beach or the two swimming pools, and were delighted by how calm and quiet Cape San Blas was. Since we preferred to cook most of our meals ourselves, it was also nice to have a great kitchen with all of the pots, pans, etc. that we needed. We spend plenty of time riding the bikes that we rented as well, and couldn't be happier with the overall experience. The owners were very welcoming, and were quick to answer our questions as they came up...WELL DONE!

Great Vacation

This home was as advertised. Communication with the property manager was great. She was very responsive. This home has been kept up well. The kitchen has everything we needed. We loved the area and had the best weather. The beds were a little hard and need updated as well as the screened in porch. We had the best trip!

Wonderful spot

We have stayed all over the cape and with teenage boys and a granddaughter we love the flexibility of staying in Barrier Dunes. This VRBO was absolutely perfect for our family. Nice and close to the pool and park without being too far from the beach. The house was cute and very well stocked (not always a given). We will definitely be coming back.

Wonderful condo in paradise

The condo was great for our family of 4 but could have easily accommodated 6. An end unit in a quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood - the condo is tucked in behind the pond and steps from the playground. The pool is a quick walk away with the beach just beyond that. We visited the State Park multiple days in a row and was literally the first turn out of the neighborhood. It was absolutely gorgeous!The condo itself was very comfortable. Super soft mattresses and good fans for those inevitable sunburns. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the drive under parking was an added bonus for pulling the truck in and everyone hosing off - and staying in the shade.

Perfectly Peaceful Getaway

The property in its entirety was well maintained & clean. It was a quiet & peaceful all hours of the day/night. I brought my 12yo son with me for a quick dip out toes in the sand before he's too cool to hang with mom anymore. It was a relief that I didn't have to worry about him being exposed to the party scene. The condo itself was adorable, VERY roomy & well furnished. Literally anything we needed was there. Communication was fantastic & any concerns were promptly addressed. I intentionally picked a place with a pool but didn't need it as the beaches were so clean & not crowded. We loved the screened in porch & having the pond in the backyard was a wonderful surprise. I'm already looking forward to my next stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family & I had the most beautiful experience during our time on the Cape @ Barrier Dunes. We were so sad to leave and wish we could’ve stayed forever. The rental property itself was spacious, yet cozy for our family of 6. We were right across from the neighborhood playground and right around the corner from 1 of 2 community pools. We utilized both of these everyday. The second pool is right on the beach & was beautiful/ relaxing. The walk to the beach wasn’t bad either, especially with our complimentary rental gear credit. We also enjoyed all of the balconies at our townhome. We made great use of the main screened in space, and ate breakfast outside every morning. The beach itself was spectacular & we made memories we will cherish forever. The local environment of the Cape & Port St. Joe is one of charm & kindness. We fell in love with this area and decided we will be back every year. Truly a place that is embedded in our hearts & I recommend everyone visit!

Definitely a good place to stay in the area. Just needs a desperate carpet cleaning. Upon arrival there were three obvious pet stains in the master bedroom carpeting that I had to clean. Otherwise good place. Needs to be repaired. There are several areas throughout the unit that have been bandaged vs actually repaired. All cosmetic, but makes you feel like you aren’t getting your money’s worth on the value paid vs expected value from the pictures. It’s understandable being a pet friendly unit but the cleaners should do better job is all. We always choose pet friendly due to our buddy that tags along but this one was a little lacking in sanitation. Again it’s pet friendly so we were surprised but not shocked. The grounds are very nice and very easy access to beach and pools.

New Wave Property management was rude and unprofessional. We had issues getting in the gate and they responded to me like they were chastising a child. I received an email 4 days before the trip that stated “check in information”. It said N/A for gate code and security code so I reached out and said “hey, we’re getting there super late, how do we get in?” They responded with its contactless with a code. Apparently 20 years ago, when I created the account, my cell # was 1 digit off. It’s never been an issue and I never realized it happened because I did not check the “please send me critical trip updates via text” box. I’ve always gotten emails. Well, they sent a critical update via text which I take responsibility for because the number was wrong, but I reached out when I didn’t have arrival information and they didn’t provide it, so at 1:00 am when I got there and realized that I didn’t have a way in, I was told, “well, you put your number in wrong.” Okay, you’re right, but I’m still locked out, and unfortunately don’t have good enough service to argue via text. Fortunately while on the phone with VRBO someone called and the text with the code came through at the same time. It was very upsetting and unprofessional. The condo was beautiful and clean, but when we go back, we will find a condo with a different management company. Also, they sent no less than 5 emails that week soliciting rentals, so I had no reason to think I was also getting a text with check in information.
