We stayed at this property on our recent road trip from Brisbane to Sydney. The rooms looked like they had been recently renovated. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The rooms were spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the river. Friendly staff. Easy to organise late check in. Would recommend.

We stayed for 2 nights, room looked exactly as on web side, view on the river,very clean. Very friendly staff they offered to changed towels after first night. Walking distances to all restaurant and to town. Only downside,: no kitchenette no sinks and no designated car park so first came first served but for us it wasn't any problem. I would recommend.

The renovations were excellent. The fixtures in the room and bathroom have been improved. Only downside would be the lack of extra power points. We needed an extra one at the table. Luckily, we brought an extra power board to plug into the one in the corner of the room where the lamp was. Other than that, The Palm Court is an excellent place to stay as it is close to the port for whale watching, our main reason for going to Port Macquarie. It’s walkable to all restuarants and shops.

I booked 2 rooms for 4 guests and paid for two rooms through Expedia, however on arrival at Palm court in Port Macquarie, the receptionist insisted that they only had one room booked for 2 guests under my name. We were advised that the hotel was fully booked and the other two guests needed to find alternative accommodation. As we booked through Expedia and not directly with Palm Court, we were told that the hotel could not rectify the mix up and would not refund for the second room. Fortunately a hotel nearby had a vacancy which the other two guests were able to check in and had to pay for additional accommodation at the rate requested. I am very unhappy that while Expedia charged for two rooms, we were only allocated one room, plus additional accommodation for another hotel. I will not book through Expedia or stay at Palm Court ever again as it turned out a very expensive overnight stay and very unsatisfying experience!!!!! I would like an explanation as to how this can occur, if more than one room is booked by one client

Shame about the noise & stairs.

Great Location, next to shops, water & Parks, friendly staff, spacious, well appointed , clean room. Morning noise from adjacent Reno’s very loud, lots of consistent banging & drilling. Too many stairs, if you have a lot of luggage, Forget it!

The hotel was quite new - in fact some renovations were under way while we were there - luckily they stopped quite early. There were a lot of stairs to climb to get to our room. The room had all the amenities and was clean - but oh, so small! There was jut room to fit everything in. Next time I would get a bigger one - this was was barely big enough for one person.

Great Location!

This is the second time we have stayed at Malm Court Motor in at Port Macquarie. Palm Court Motor in has great rooms at reasonable prices, lovely staff and is a fantastic location within walking distance to restaurants, beach, bars, supermarket etc etc. We will be back!
