Stayed at this property in and out for the past five years. Always been a great getaway. However, lack of attention to detail is prevalent. Not clean, exterior maintenance and interior maintenance lacking. Had a power outage for the entire weekend which pretty much ruined our stay. (Even though power outages are common these days, it goes without saying to try get a generator or UPS fitted for a luxury villa) We were compensated with a bottle of wine, and can see the staff were genuinely perplexed by the lack of resources. Room interior: mattress & pillows dated Fittings & fixtures loose TV from 1995 with outdated dstv (no smart tv) No WiFi AC units all rusted and noisy If you’re looking for a quick pop in it’s okay, but sadly not for a weekend getaway. Hope they fix it, as it’s one of the old favorites.

Lovely but needs some attention

I was moved to another room as the room I was in had terrible internet. I was most grateful for that. The only negative was that the blinds are very tatty and need to be repaired or new ones installed. Otherwise happy with my stay

A quiet location, suitable for couples. Would stay again! The bar was not the focus point of the hotel and was minimally stocked. Staff are very friendly, room was kept clean

I’m sorry to say this hotel fell short of everything you would expect. When we arrived the room we were allocated was dark and dirty. There was a chair in the corner was was stained and smelled gross. A small piece of paper on the bed advising the power wad going off at 10pm for 2.5 hours and a light provided. I went to the very friendly staff on reception and advised I would not be staying. They were apologetic and admitted some rooms need attention. I accepted a move of room and sincerely wish I had not. Although it was marginally better it still wasn’t clean. On return from our meal in a nearby restaurant by Uber as it isn’t safe to walk after 7pm as promised the power went out at 10pm. Our emergency light did not come on and the room was pitch black. We managed by chance to locate the security guard who helped us with the temporary light. We then discovered our door didn’t lock properly. The security guard then said don’t worry you can call if you need me or are worried. The phone didn’t work. I don’t like leaving a bad review but I have to be honest. Don’t waste your time here go to one of the bigger chain hotels nearby that are only a fraction more expensive.

Stunning Singa Stay

Great amazing rooms. The space is to die for. The deco in the rooms , stunning. Breakfast however not a buffet, but they made pancakes when we asked even though not in menu. Great friendly staff

The lodge is beautiful and in a quite place. I was not happy with our room, it did not have separate beds for the kids. the mattress they provided for the kids reeked of urine, eventually the whole room was affected by the smell. The toilet had no privacy (closed door). Their bedding had a damp like smell, not good at all for my sinuses.
