Terrible, won’t stay again even if it was free

Customer service was not helpful or knowledgable. They showed lack of interest to help anyone and outwardly exhibited signs of exasperation because customers needed things. Anyone that works in customer service knows not to talk about a current problem in front of other customers. However, this team lacks this. Not just 1 person, yet all 3 that I observed. Which I heard while I was in the lobby while waiting for my room. I knew if I had any problems they would be of no use. Called at 12pm, to see if I could check in early. They said they don’t allow that in the summer. I understand that. Didn’t ask any details about my upcoming stay to see if there was anything they could do. Got there and waited in the parking lot at 1:30. 2pm, I asked if I could use the bathroom and they said they didn’t have one. 3pm, check in time my room isn’t ready. I watched 12 people get a room before I got my room. I got into my room at 4pm. Heard every step everyone upstairs took. Heavy Water damage on the bathroom door, stains all over every single one of the pathways, trash everywhere outside, says it’s smoke free but there’s buds all over the property and it smells like smoke. Checked out a day early cause it was just gross & miserable experience and I’d rather be at home. Didn’t feel safe from the noise outside. Couldn’t report it since the customer service was non existent.

This property is NOT ADA compliant in the least. There is only 1 ramp up onto the walkways and it is in front of the office door. And it is not a built-in ramp. It is an after market metal ramp barely wide enough for a walker. There was a water emergency in Port Angeles when I arrived. The management had NO plan to assist their clients except to say "Don't drink the water or brush you teeth with it". They did not even know where free water was being distributed nor did they care. No wonder the property is for sale

Great location. Right outside of the hurricane ridge visitor center. But the inn is between two busy main roads and the traffic is very noisy.

The property is pretty old and a lot of things are falling apart. One of our rooms smelled like old cigarettes even though its non smoking the front desk person spayed some air fresher when we told them. The other room had a broken ac unit but they put in a potable and it worked good. They wired up security cameras with zip ties and wires hanging everywhere. The stairs had a rusty piece of metal sticking out of them. The worst was the noisy room above us. The location is near town.

The location is good for visiting hurricane ridge. The price is acceptable compare to other inns close by. They did their best to keep the room clean. However, those beddings and furniture s are old and need upgrade

The photos advertising this property can be somewhat deceiving. I booked based on the online property photos showing the pretty little bridge over water and the lobby. The lobby was ok, but the rest of this property is dirty and dingy. There are signs all over the parking lot instructing patrons to lock vehicles. It turns out the cute little bridge is somwhere else. The bathroom had mold and something rust colored on floorboards and shower/tub. The iron's water compartment for steam was full of mold or some other filthy water. DISGUSTING.

There was a hole in the bathroom door where it looks like someone punched it. Hooks in the bathing area had been removed, leaving unpatched holes in the walls. Drawer in the console would not stay closed because floor uneven. Outside trash containers overflowing. But, it was quiet, and convenient, beds were clean and reception staff friendly and helpful.

This is a motel. Not a hotel. Staff is amazing but property is very run down. You can tell they tried to do an update/upgrade in rooms but it’s still pretty bad. Mold mildew everywhere. Pool was gross. Hot tub next to pool was broken. I think they are trying their best to keep this place running but they need a HUGE make over or just call themselves motel rather than hotel. It is definitely not hotel. Again, staff was incredible though!!

We stayed at this location for its proximity to Olympic National Park, but the hotel overall needs some upgrades to the cleanliness and outside appearance leading to the rooms (ie, trash outside, elevator needs up keep, reports of roaches from other guests).

No wifi despite having wifi code. Tried getting on for an hour, no luck. Below average especially for the nightly rate. If you have to stay overnight because of ferry, it’s fine…but not great. 5 mins to ferry so that’s helpful.
