The view was STUNNING! (And wonderful that the weather cooperated, with a crystal clear view of snowy Mt Baker back behind the blue stretch of the Strait!) The kitchen had every appliance one could dream of, the five bedrooms gave everyone their own private space - the two masters were especially great, and the games room made for a WONDERFUL break for parents and grandparents while the kids had a blast. The place was sparkling clean, the laundry facilities comprehensive, and the scooters were the cherry on top - well, perhaps that was the Olympic Discovery Trail almost on the doorstep.The only slight negative was that after dark it was hard to find the place.

We chose this house as one of two for a family reunion. It was so comfortable, nice bedrooms and privacy for all, while also cozy, but spacious common spaces to enjoy without tripping over each other. Great, spacious and decently stocked kitchen for all the cooking we were doing, and what a view! I would recommend upgrading the range -- the old electrical style is very slow to heat up -- but otherwise we found most of what we needed.

The best part of the stay is clearly the great views! Clean. Owner/Manager was responsive to our calls about the hot water. Fun game room for the kids. Labeling the cabinets made it easier to find things and put things away.
