The vacation home is more like a duplex apartment,...

The vacation home is more like a duplex apartment, since the owners’ children (who live on the property) live in the basement. We would have liked to have known that beforehand. They were all very friendly, but we would have made a different decision if we’d known. Otherwise, it was just as shown in the photos; the view of the fjord was wonderful. The island is also very beautiful and offers great walking trails. The ferry is quite expensive at about 35 euros (round trip).
