Welcome to Island Madame, and island off the island of Cape Breton Island! We are a small island located 20 minutes off the 104, on your way to Saint Peters. This historic cottage features 4 bedrooms and 1.5 baths and it is walking distance to our beautiful Provincial Pondville Beach. The four bedrooms are upstairs. Bedroom one and two feature a queen bed. Bedroom 3 features a Queen bed and single. Bedroom four has two double beds. We can also provide a playpen upon request. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would ever need. You will love watching the morning deer, exploring the beach or nearby wooded area. Ask us about the walking trails, listen to the ocean waves inside and outside. This kids will enjoy the climbing ropes, trampoline and free range chickens! The fire pit and the water view are a great combo and we provide the wood. Strong wifi, large tv, firestick & movies, karaoke machine and games for those rainy days. Like many homes on the island, this is a very old, rustic cottage with lots of charm and the most comfy beds. We've also recently added a sauna.
We are a 5 minute drive to a Sobeys and liquor store, an 8 minute drive to one of two local pubs often showcasing local talent. Buy fresh fish at some of our local markets and from local fishermen. The best coffee can be found at La Goelette in Arichat, a 5 minute drive. Hearts Ice Cream in the summer is a must try! We will connect you to local events in our area once you book! And need a babysitter? No problem. We have you covered!
