Caltrans is running a generator from dusk till dawn powering lights right outside the King Suite window, the room we were in really shouldn’t be available right now due to all of the noise. It would be a nice place otherwise, a bit dated but a beautiful view of the ocean, some other reviews mention the same thing about the generator and nothing has been done to remedy the situation. You can’t have the windows open, it’s crazy loud, and even with the windows closed it’s still a generator humming along all night.

Room was adequate for a stop over stay. Clean and well maintained, but bed was a bit hard. Amenities were basic, but view was fantastic.

My room was bright, airy, and welcoming; super clean, cozy, and comfortable. Lovely view of both river and ocean. The "fireplace" was an unexpected bonus. Parking area is laid out well, somewhat hidden from the street by shrubs in the property, and the spaces are large. Becky (on-site manager) was very friendly, helpful, and informative. Totally professional, but with a warm personality. She was very accommodating when I discovered I'd inadvertently double-booked for the night! But I ended up wanting a second night, so she worked it all out. This is a great place and I would driveline stay here again!

Wanted a quiet getaway for my partners birthday. We had never been to Gualala and this property was perfectly located to walk anywhere we needed to go. The rooms have a fridge, microwave, cute little fireplace and bistro table and chairs. The view was fantastic. The property was quiet and clean. Perfect for our getaway.

Cozy, spacious room with fireplace and beautiful view of the river and blue water. Tub/shower is a nice option; adds a homey touch. Fridge, microwave, and Keurig are very clean and in good working order. Clear concise instructions for the fireplace&TV. Local dining/shopping guide very handy. Becky (on-site manager) was extremely helpful, accommodating, and friendly. She turned my glaring oversight (double-booking) into a blessing. I would stay here again!

Love staying at the country inn it’s the only motel I have ever stayed in where when you walk in the office they offer you a cold beer for free from the mini fridge my kinda place.The view is nice the rooms are clean and nicely set up and it’s easy acces definitely recommend staying there if your in gualala

I highly recommend this dog-friendly Inn.

I love this place and will definitely stay there again.The rooms are very nice, very comfortable and a great value. The host/concierge was so helpful and friendly, I really felt at home there. They were fully booked, yet the rooms were quiet and the other guests I met were also nice dog owners. On one walk, I met some nice people who said they usually stay at the Gualala Country Inn, but they were already full; they also plan to stay there again. The Inn is situated on the edge of town so everything is convenient but quiet. I highly recommend this dog-friendly Inn.
