A hidden gem tucked in a village that truly gives you a taste of the northern Italian culture. Perfect setting for sightseeing. Easy access to Como, Bellagio and Lecco. Be sure to jump on the ferry for a fun day trip. The details in the design of this property are next level. It’s clean, modern, comfortable and feels like a luxury property. The luggage transport is a huge plus. Warm hospitality and thoughtful details. Be sure to arrive in a small vehicle to take advantage of the complimentary parking. Bar Sonia and Max are a must. A morning coffee to start your day on the right foot. And don’t miss an afternoon apertivo on the balcony. Looking forward to our next stay.

C’est un endroit extraordinaire où on peux vivre l’Italie pratiquement comme si on était italien, la maison est entièrement rénovée avec goût dans le respect de l’architecture italienne au cœur d’un village typique avec des commerces de proximité où nous avons été reçus comme des amis. La maison est bien équipé et la terrasse est incroyable avec une vue à couper le souffle. La résidence est à proximité des principaux joyaux du lac de Côme et le responsable sur place connais tout le monde, est serviable et sympathique et de bon conseils pour planifier les activités! Notez que le lave linge est à l’extérieur de la résidence, tel que mentionné dans l’annonce, il ne faut pas avoir peur des insectes pour l’utiliser

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Pognana Lario sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft liegt mitten im Bergdörfchen, sodass man viel vom authentischen, italienischen Lifestyle mitbekommt. Das hat uns gut gefallen, als Gegensatz zu dem im Sommer sehr touristischen Hotspots wie Como und Bellagio. Es ist nicht weit nach Mailand, das man gut mit dem Zug von Como aus erreichen kann. Auch Wanderungen kann man von hier aus starten.Die Terrasse und der Blick auf den See von dort sind wunderbar, besonders nachts ist die Aussicht magisch. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und optisch sehr ansprechend eingerichtet und mit allem, was man so braucht, ausgestattet. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, man fühlt sich bestens informiert und betreut.

Nice Home in Pognana, Italy

We stayed at Robert's wonderful home for five nights. Robert is a great communicator and if you need anything, he's on top of it. Franco is Robert's representative who will check you in and you will definitely need Franco and his cart. If you are going to be driving, make sure you check with Robert on the size of the car, as Robert provided valuable advice on the size of the car that will fit into his garage. Without Franco’s professional parking services, parking never would have happened. Limited parking options available.Great restaurant below, they sells bus tickets to Como and Bellagio. Staff is great too.House is in impeccable condition. Great views on the terrace as the pictures show.Great place, I'll bring my daughter back next year. Thank you Robert. Bruce and Jennifer.

A Little Slice of Heaven

Amazing week! The property was spectacular. We felt like we were at home with every amenity possible. The host has amazing taste. So comfortable and spacious. Great location! The views are so amazing from the private terrace. We saw fireworks a few nights! We will be back!

Italy trip stop 4

Check-in was easy and the house was amazing and the full size shower was a treat after dealing with 3x3 showers for over a week. the location is almost half way between Como and Bellagio. I though the drive would only be 10-15 min but on the Italian roads it was closer to 30-40 min. The views along the drive are amazing but you need to plan for extra time. The only negative is the 153 steps to get from the road to the unit. If it was not for that I would give all 5 stars.

Stunning views of Lake Como

We stayed in Robert’s beautiful terrace house for 3 days. We had a bit of trouble finding the house , but Robert was quick to find us help and we were escorted to the house ( with full luggage service thankfully , because it is a climb to the house ) . The house is beautiful, spacious and has everything you would need . You quickly realize that long walk to the house is well worth it, because the views are absolutely to die for!

Amazing View

Clean and modern. Amazing view from the piazza of Lake Como. Extremely attentive host. Garage space great for small car. The walk up to the house is well worth the view and the serenity of the hillside. Def consult the hosts Instagram page for directions. Will stay again!

Agréable séjour

Le séjour s'est parfaitement déroulé. La maison est rès bien équipée, récemment rénovée, confortable et spacieuse. Terrasse très agréable avec vue magnifique et dégagée sur le lac. Échanges rapides et complets avec le propriétaire. Seul le stationnement à proximité de la maison est un peu compliqué en haute saison si vous êtes avec une voiture trop grande pour le garage. Mais le problème de stationnement est général à toute la région du lac en été. En tous cas, nous garderons de très bons souvenirs de notre séjour. pour voiture

Enchanting View of Lake Como

We have really enjoyed our stay at this property and our communications with the owner who took the time to answer quickly my questions before and during our stay. The roof top terrace of the house offers a 180 degrees view of Lake Como from high up. I spent every day on it and got up as soon as the sunrise to admire the view with a cappuccino, my phone for pictures and a book. It is nicely furnished inside and the outdoor spaces, and you have a small terrace just outside the primary bedroom. The kitchen is modern, nice appliances with view of Lake Como, beautiful dining room and fireplace. Lots of natural light. They have a lot of stairs in this region, avoid high heels and big suitcases as you need to go up to access the house. We made the mistake to rent a small SUV and could not park in the garage. They have several public parking sites in town, we were always able to find a free parking spot. They have public transportation and we will consider in a future stay to take advantage of this option. You can buy your food and wine in Pognana Lario. The neighbors are quiet and friendly as we got help to figure out our way through these ancient stones as we were going up the stairs at our arrival. You really get the feeling of leaving and experiencing beautiful Italy. The distance to Como is 14 km but takes 30 minutes by car as the road is narrow, about the same for Bellagio.

Lovely Property

Really lovely property, close to Lake Como. Excellently furnished and fully equipped. A bit of a hike from the road - up a number of cobbled steps... but, I am 60 years old and could manage it easily enough - 'though not as quickly as my 21 year old son - but we wouldn't get the beautiful views from the terrace without the short up-hill hike - so well worth it IMO. There are a few places to park - but the closer ones were generally full, so a 10-15 minute walk along the road was usually required.. Overall a really excellent place and experience.
