The room was adequate - spacious enough, clean, nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Alex at reception was friendly and informative, helping us with our bags and explaining everything about the hotel. Can't beat the location in a courtyard just off 5th Avenue. The place is very secure with a locked gate and 24 hour reception. However, we were kept awake by the loud music from a nearby club - until 3:30am. Don't know if this happens every night as we only stayed one night before our bus south.

lovely secluded spot on very busy 5th street. rooms and bathrooms could stand to be upgraded but overall very nice, quiet stay! Friendly staff and good gate security.

The room was clean and had all essentials. The staff was friendly and attentive. The location is the best part, couldn’t get better, everything is close by. You get a very nice room that is clean with cold AC, an in-room safe and lovely courtyard surroundings for a price that just can’t be beat. You are in the heart of Playa del Carmen, just steps away from restaurants and bars and the beach. I would absolutely stay here again, I highly recommend this property.

The unlike look of a Mediterranean style property was so relaxing the rooms need a little upgrading but in all it was a great experience. I will defiantly stay here again, I give it 5 stars

This is a well-priced little hotel in the center of town, which means it can be noisy but that didn't bother us. They have great security. The courtyard is lovely. The rooms are older but the beds were fine an we did have hot water. Our room was quite large and we had air-conditioning in the bedroom which worked great. The wi-fi worked well. It was good for a moderate priced hotel, but could use some updating.

Perfect location!!! Everything is just a few steps away! I booked this hotel as a last minute getaway, so I wasn’t expecting much from it. However, it exceeded my expectations in many ways!

This place is great! I want my friends and i to book this whole hotel next time we are in Playa. Your on the 5th Ave. Near everything... So everything is mire expensive but to blocks away the food is great and cheaper. Walmart is the next block up. This place was great. I didnt spend much time in the hotel because of our adventures, but it was like home when i got there to relax. My friends visited my hoteland want to stay there next time. I hope we do book that whole hotel ourselves oneday.

Excellent customer service from all employees, specially Miguel. Clean, nice, private, convenient location on Quinta Avenida and near ADO Bus station. Jacuzzi and cute roof patio with sea view. I will stay here again.

The hotel is a cute, clean, no frills right off the main strip in Playa. Location is perfect and for the price you can't beat it. The front gate is locked so reception has to let you in/out (they're always there) and i felt very safe. There's also a mini fridge, which I used to store my bottled water. Things to consider: beds are basic, ok for a couple nights, but probably not a long trip. Also, the windows in the room dont seal shut (they're beach windows, with the slats) *this being said, the A/C never gets the room truly cold, which is uncomfortable for sleeping, esp when you've been out in 100F weather all day and just want to come back to relax. Internet can be slowwww(depending on room location/time of day), luckily there's a Starbucks 2 blks away that I could go get work done at.

Great location, lovley room for the price. The room was always very clean! The location is great! The garden area that it is tucked away in, is perfect. At night, I was often the only one in the jacuzzi and I looked up to see palm trees, stars and the moon, while listening to live music from the Italian restaurant below. It’s close enough to everything, even the ADO bus station, making arrival easy. Alex, at the front desk, was very kind and friendly. The bedroom was at the back, away from the courtyard and I never had a problem falling asleep. There are fans and and air conditioning unit in the bedroom—great for temperature and white noise.

Good value for price

For the price it is a good value. Very utilitarian. Great location close to restaurants, etc. I really liked the firm mattress. The only downside is at night you will hear noise from nearby restaurants and bars. Basic needs met. Moises, one of the lobby clerks, was very helpful as well with information.

Very cute little hotel. I loved the courtyard with the beautiful paintings and it really created a nice aura. It is right of the main strip in Playa Del Carmen so everything you would want or need is foots from the hotel. The staff are very nice and welcoming. It is not a fancy hotel though - the area is beautiful but the rooms are nothing like a resort. The patio upstairs has a view of the ocean and I ate dinner their with my boyfriend a couple nights because it was so pretty. BEWARE - if you are a light sleeper or dont do well with noise this is not for you. It is right off the strip and there are multiple clubs right around the corner so often the noise at night is pretty bad. All in all though really nice visit.

Nice budget hotel

Great location on 5th. Close to ADO bus. Pretty rooftop sitting area overlooking water. Clubs thump til 4 am, so bring earplugs. Uncomfortable beds, but that's how it goes in this part of the world. Nice service staff. Good budget hotel.

Great place for a budget stay comfy best location

Nice cosy quiet rooms with balcony right on 5th Ave very close to the beach and around all the action. Staff was very helpful and courteous. We checked in at 3am but had no issues. Room is comfortable and clean, hot water, tv, aircon, security box, clean comfy towels. Only thing pls add a blanket in winters :)

Its a very cute hotel tucked away inside beatiful gallery. The staff is very friendly and helpful (some have better English than others), its very clean with rooftop terrace overlooking the sea. Due to the location it does get a bit noisy at night, - but it might depend on the location of the room. I had a sitting area in the front and bedroom at the back- so could close the door and not hear much. All in all - I enjoyed my stay.
