Perfect Private Caribe Villa frente al mar de lujo con piscina

'One Particular Harbour' es una escapada de vacaciones ideal para parejas, familias o grupos pequeños. Esta villa se encuentra entre un tramo de casas de playa privada en el área de plantación tranquila en la península de Placencia. La casa se compone de tres suites.
El área de nivel de vida superior es el "Cheeseburger in Paradise 'suite. Se compone de un dormitorio principal, cocina gourmet, sala de estar, baño privado con una ducha abierta y dos lavabos. Techos abovedados de caoba y pisos de madera proporcionan belleza y comodidad. Una terraza cubierta de 400 pies cuadrados recorre toda la longitud de la casa y ofrece vistas del océano desde la cubierta y el interior de la casa. La sala de estar tiene un cómodo sofá cama convertible doble. Disfrute de su desayuno en el porche mirando el amanecer como la brisa del mar refresca suavemente. Private space for all

We each had our own bedroom & bath for privacy. The house was clean & well supplied with everything we needed. I was pleasantly surprised to see tv's in both lower bedrooms since it was not mentioned in the description.A bit sad not to have a hammock to nap in but we kept busy. AC works well & beds were comfy. Highly recommend! Thanks Herbert!

Heaven on the beach!

We absolutely loved everything about this property! The house was SUPER comfortable and cozy with the most spectacular views of the sunrise and beautiful ocean. Herbert was very helpful and communicative, and we had everything we needed to enjoy our time at his home. He has books and games to use, bath and pool towels, kitchen essentials and some extras - like 5 gallons of drinking water per floor and coffee. The kids loved the pool...it was very clean, and floats were provided. We didn't get to take out the kayaks...the water was too rough. I think going on the lagoon side might have been an option, but we ran out of time. We went snorkeling and sailing from Placencia, and we had such an amazing time! Eating out, we loved Maya Bistro, especially for breakfast, Green Parrot (the best key lime drink ever), and Laguna. There are so many delicious options for food though. Thank you for a wonderful trip, Herbert!

Fabulous Vacation

We had a fun, exciting time with friends, great weather and the locals are so amazing! Made lots of friends and tons of laughs. Experienced some amazing tours and food! So nice to have a place comfortable for 7 Adults in their 60’s to come home to after a long day!

Nice place

Beautiful view, nice bed, stocked kitchen, and plenty of sun! Went diving, snorkeling etc. Hung out at the house most days laying in the sun. The neighborhood dogs are fine and not an issue. Fun place to visit.

Beautiful home with private beach

My family and i stayed here for 4 days and loved the location and the privacy of the beach. The house is super clean and top pf the line amenities. The ONLY thing we had triuble with was the internet but that seemed to be the problem everywhere it isvery very sloe. We would stay here again for sure!

Family get away

This property was amazing! We were looking for a quiet place where we could relax with our adult children and this was the perfect home for us. Honestly, the house is what made our trip so great, mostly because of the porch. It rained quite a bit and the sun barely came out for our 8 night stay and yet we still considered the vacation a huge success. We canceled some of our planned excursions because of the foul weather and just relaxed together. We highly recommend this property!

Perfect Beach Paradise!

We absolutely loved our stay and the house was set up to allow each group their privacy while still staying connected. The beach is beautiful, the pictures of the house are accurate. We would book here again. The only downside (which can't be helped) is the ability to walk on the beach for a bit unless you hop in the water on occasion. I love to take a mile or two stroll first thing in the morning and was not able to do so. The property managers were very available to us and did everything possible to make the stay very pleasant.

A great peaceful location and accommodating host

We loved staying in this home along the nothern part of Placencia Rd away from the cities and crowds with direct access to the sea. Herbert was a fabulous host who was very positive and responsive to all of our inquiries. The home was well-equipped and our 2 young adult children loved having their own floor with their own bedrooms and bathrooms with a kitchen! The construction next door was loud at times, but not the fault of our host. It looks like they were almost finished. A few men approached us at our private pool and front door to sell things, but were polite when we asked them to leave. We loved having our own pool at the house and the kayaks provided were also very fun to use. We highly recommend this property for a relaxing stay in a convenient location to explore both Placencia and mainland sites.

Perfect multi-generational home

Our family truly enjoyed staying at this beautiful home that provided the space we needed to celebrate my husband’s 80th birthday. The home had everything we needed to spend time together and make delicious meals. The kids lived in the pool and having 2 kitchens really made this house exceptional. Home was very clean and welcoming. I highly recommend this home and working with the host was amazing. he was so helpful with all of our questions.

Absolutely perfect

This place could not have been more perfect for my family. The set up is such that it's like have three apartments. My husband and I had the top floor and my two adult sons and their significant others had the two room on the main level. It's so nice for everyone to have their own space and bathroom. Herbert was very responsive and helpful. I'm not saying this as a negative, but just for informational purposes, our wifi wasn't great with T-mobile, but someone else in our party has At&T and it worked better for her. The place is great, the beds are super comfy and the pool was larger than we expected it to be! Hope we can return.

Great place!!

The house was beautiful and well appointed. The house is as described in the listing. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed the pool. We had daily visits from the neighbors very sweet and dogs. My girls LOVED that! We ate a Maya Bistro a couple times and it was delicious (just down the street). Check-in and out was easy! We loved our trip to Belize!

Relaxing location

Perfect home to have the best of both worlds — relaxation with proximity to adventure! Pool is refreshing, and kayaks were an added bonus. Palapa shown in the pics was disassembled, which would have been great for shade on the beach. Clean home with great AC. Herbert is very helpful and provided great suggestions for restaurants, groceries and tour guides. Very responsive!! Great place to provide quality family time!

It was amazing

We traveled to Placencia with our 2 children (11 & 10) and my in-laws (70s). The house was a great set up with 2 bedrooms and a kitchenette on the main floor which walked out to the pool on the beach! The upstairs has another bedroom with kitchen and living space. The house was very clean and communication was excellent. The house is about 20-25 minutes from Placencia. We actually did not spend much time in Placencia but rather enjoyed the nearby chocolate tour, an amazing day of fishing and snorkeling, and enjoying the house. Maya Bistro is about 10 minutes drive and has good food with very friendly staff. Leo’s car rental was very accommodating and Captain Jak’s set us up with a great experience at Mojo Caye which was amazingly beautiful.

Perfect Private getaway!

We loved staying in this house on the beach. If you are looking for a relaxing and private get away than this is it! The house had comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen and the beach and pool were perfect for spending time reading and kayaking. Herbert was an excellent host as well:) Some tips: It is about 25 min from Placencia so you will need to rent a car. We used Leo’s Car Rental and they were great. It’s about 10 min from Maya Beach and we loved to eat at Maya Beach Bistro. We took the car North 30min to visit a chocolate farm and hike to waterfalls in the Mayflower Bokawina Park. You can also visit Cockscomb national park that is only 20 min away! For tours, book with Truly Wild Belize. You won’t regret it! Stock up at Publix in Seine Bight for food. Enjoy!

Can't Beat the View!

We recently stayed at Our Special Harbor and it was fantastic! The house was super clean and well stocked. The check in process was seamless and Herbert was an exceptional host! He answered all my questions, gave suggestions for restaurants and excursions and was extremely easy to work with - easily the best VRBO host I've had the pleasure working with. Teo, the caretaker, kept the grounds spotless! We drove from Belize City to Placencia and it was very easy. For us, the entire Placencia peninsula was extremely quiet...it felt like we were practically the only people on vacation! We were able to walk into restaurants at any time of the day and never had to wait. We enjoyed several meals at Maya Beach Bistro - it was our favorite! We also enjoyed Naia; the Barefoot Bar for yummy drinks and appetizers; my girls loved the coffee at Brewed Awakenings and we all loved the gelato at Tutti Frutti. Having the pool right on the ocean was amazing! When we were there, the ocean wasn't as clear in front of the house as it was in Placencia itself. It didn't bother us at all, but just thought I'd share. You also cannot get very far walking on the beach if that is important to you. However, it is an amazing property and you cannot beat the view. We went on an island hopping tour with Go Sea Tours and snorkeled around Silk Caye & swam with nurse sharks & sea turtles. We also did the Cave Tubing & Xunantunich tour with Truly Wild Belize. I would highly recommend them both!

Anniversary weekend w best friends

The property is in a great location. House was clean and beds comfy! It sits steps from the beach and we loved sitting on the porch in the morning watching the view as the sun came up. Bring your own soap, shampoo and conditioner. Luckily there are several stores down the road in Placencia.

Perfect!!!

This house is perfectly amazing! From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth. Herbert was extremely communicative and answered all of my questions. The house was soooo clean and the beach and pool were beautiful. There are two bedrooms downstairs with two full baths and a full kitchen and one bedroom upstairs with a full bath and kitchen. We used the grill with no problems and did laundry everyday. There are several small grocery stores within a 10 minute drive that has everything you would need. We will be back to this house for another relaxing vacay!!

Our Special++ Harbor!

This was our first time in Belize. It was amazing and awesome with this very special place to stay! Everything was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the mornings- afternoons and evenings at the house. Loved the pool and both decks - and just stayed unplugged from the external world but connected with the nature- the sea.. it was mesmerizing! A big thanks to the hosts and Herbert. 🙏

Beautiful, relaxing visit

Well kept villa with fabulous sea views and good beach. The villa is well equipped and plenty of outdoor activities to keep busy. But ideal for just relaxation. Herbert was great with recommendations and setting up a private chef to prepare two delicious meals in.

Like a Dream (Vacation)

This house is like a dream of convenience and luxury. There are spaces that can be separate from one another and each space is beautifully appointed. Each person can achieve the kind of restful privacy that most of us look for on vacation. The waterfront experience is immersive as you have the beach on one side and what seems like a bay on the other side of the road, so when you open up the doors and windows the wind flows through! The pool is a perfect little gem and you can enjoy it while you’re no less than 20 feet from the waves and a beautiful beach vista. The house and land around it, including the pool and the beach, were immaculately groomed when we arrived. Although there are houses on either side, the feeling is one of privacy and respectful distance, except for the adorable dogs that live next door. We loved their visits and missed our faraway dogs a little less when we met these goofy ambassadors. The house was well stocked with household items and they were plenty of towels of all types and even a little safe. Comfy mattresses in a good range of pillow types, so first night’s sleep was restorative! Herbert was the dream host--invisible and somehow also always there when we needed him, answering our questions in a clear and friendly fashion. His suggestions were spot-on--we feel so lucky that we did not have to wing it in this beautiful place!

Beautiful location and comfortable home!

We thouroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Our Special Harbor. The location is private-yet close enough to restaurants and stores (a big shout out to The Maya Beach Bistor aind Inkys!). Herbert was exceptional to work with, very prompt in responding to questions and even provided a pack n play for our granddaughter! Sitting on the upper or lower deck was so relaxing and the views amazing. The pool is small but very adequate for a refreshing dip. A few maintenance issues that did not detract from our vacation: The grill was unusable and in need of replacement, the water pressure on the second floor was very low (this may be out of the owner's control) and rain does come into the hallway stairs, the pool handrail needs reanchoring. Would recommend this house and this area for an enjoyable stay!

Just What We Needed

We so enjoyed our time in Placencia! The house was PERFECT for our family — two kids who are young adults and wanted some space for themselves. The outdoor living areas - deck and upstairs and downstairs porches are amazing. We saw a beautiful sky full of stars from the third floor! Thanks to Herbert for all of his help and advice. The friendly dogs who visited were a plus since we were missing our own from back home.
