Staff at check-in was super friendly and the process was quick and easy. I was surprised to find that on-property parking was not available, I had to park at a bank around the block (valet was available as well). While there are 3 elevators for this 12 level building, only one was working and it was often too full for additional people. The wait for the elevator was quite long (sometimes almost a half an hour!) My room was on the 10th floor. It was small but very clean and cute, appeared to be recently updated. TV, lamp, coffee pot were not working when I arrived but I fixed the problem (hit reset button on the outlet behind the cabinet.) Beds were comfy, family and I all slept great. Restaurant on site is very nice. I felt a bit underdressed in my sweatshirt. Dinner was terrific. Service was not that great, but it appeared to be due to one server having a bad day (?) Other servers pitched in and got the job done. Was a little disappointed that this location did not have a free breakfast. They did offer a $12pp buffet but we opted to go elsewhere. I did not use the pool but it looked great! Lots of kids having fun. Pool room has a unique bubble-glass ceiling. Hot tub was not functioning. Did not spend much time in the surrounding area but it looked pretty quiet for a Saturday evening. I chose this hotel for its proximity to Jiminy Peak. I would definitely come back.

The staff was very accommodating. We needed a microwave so they sent someone up. The garage was closed so the provided free valet service. The only problem was the hot tub was broken and the pool was so cloudy you could not see the bottom. This is a serious safety issue. Otherwise everything about the place was great!

We feel the safety of the guest is important during this time and felt strong enough to close it. I have spoken with Engineering about the pool - the water is crystal clear. We are enhancing our protocols with the pool to make sure it is not cloudy in the future. Thank you for mentioning it to us. We look forward to your next visit of the Berkshires.
