For the basics it’s fine. But there is no way to even buy so much as a bottle of water (and the tap water isn’t good). Also there is no elevator so carrying luggage is difficult. Staff was pleasant but I will find another place to stay when I am in Pierre.

Hotel is dated, flooring is updated, but kind of run down. They didn’t offer a wake-up service. Breakfast area was dirty and food was poor. Overpriced for the condition!

Good enough for a short stay

The staff was amazing!! The bathroom had a new toilet, but the bathtub needs replaced. The towels were good, but the hand towels and wash clothes were very worn. It appears they are renovating. Maybe it will get better. The breakfast area is small, but the biscuits were delicious! The bed was awesome. Conveniently located near gas stations, restaurants and a grocery store.

We selected this hotel for the pool and the breakfast, well those did not happen. The pool was drained and that was not listed on the web site. Then for breakfast, I asked the owner to refill the batter for waffles and fruit, after waiting for 40 minutes, we left and had to purchase breakfast elsewhere. This was disappointing since there was a youth activity going on and where about multiple families waiting and leaving too. Also the used toothpick next to the bed was a yuck factor. The lobby was updated nicely and smelled good. However as soon as we hit the stairway the carpet was dirty and you could smell an odor. There has been an attempt to update the rooms. However it has been poorly done. There are cracks in the walls and painting was hastily completed. The room also had an odor of moisture/mildew.

Wouldn't let me cancel one day. The pool was under maintenance. Breakfast on Sunday was out of waffle batter. Apple juice was water and leaking. Sausages were cold. Eggs looked nasty. Sausage gravy and biscuits were gone. No one was helping to correct it.
