This hotel is very old and outdated. The location is far from everything — there are no convenient stores or town nearby, except La Paz, which is about 30 minutes away. While the staff was friendly and welcoming, the hotel amenities were quite poor overall.
The bed was very uncomfortable, and the pillows were essentially useless. During our stay, we found three cockroaches in our room. I understand this can be common in Mexico, but it was still the final straw in what was already a disappointing experience.
When we arrived at the airport, the rental car company had oversold vehicles, leaving us without a car for two days, which made transportation very challenging. Uber drivers were generally unwilling to travel all the way to the hotel, and although we were given the contact information for an excellent taxi driver, Alejandro, it often took 25–30 minutes for him to reach us.
I would recommend this hotel only to travelers on a tight budget or to those with very modest expectations.
