The location is great. Within walking distance to Old Town Scottsdale. Nice place. Had everything needed for a weeks stay. Very clean and well maintained. No control over temperture in unit. It was warm in the unit.

Nice hot tub

If the AC was in working order this would be a great place to stay. The queen bedroom is hot and the mattress has a plastic cover making it nearly impossible to sleep.

Summary of our stay at unit in maya

Great location to old town Scottsdale and restaurants…. Loved the hot tub and pool area. Unit did not have any pool towels and no laundry basket. Having a dishwasher would have been nice. No bar soap was provided in both showers. Good guest parking.

Furniture & bedding are very comfortable. The unit was quiet and stayed cool in 90 degree weather without running the air conditioner. Awesome balcony area that stays shady in the morning and evening. Pool, hot tub and work out room are excellent. Assigned parking in a covered spot that is close to the unit. The only drawback is the unit needs a through cleaning. The master toilet wasn’t clean, the floors & rugs needed swept and the kitchen drawers need cleaned. If cleanliness is improved, this would be a five star rental.

Old Scottsdale Maya Villa

Well Located in Phoenix, Arizona- close to restaurants, shopping, hiking. The complex has a heated pool and large hot tub. The unit was well equipped and quiet. Sometimes grounds keepers run VERY LOUD leaf blowers inside the common / pool area too early in the morning. We had a minor plumbing issue and the EVOLVE folks and owner tool care of it quickly. We hope to return next year.

Overall, room was a good size, balcony was nice to have, and mostly clean. Did see a couple of ants on the bathroom floor, called housekeeping (very nice) to vacuum carpets, map floor and clean and remove used coffee filter from drip coffee maker. Could not control a/c so the condo was pretty warm at night. Made it hard for sleeping. Fans in room helped.

Good but a/c was not working well

The condo was pretty great, however the AC was not working very efficiently even with closing the outside rolling shade all day. It was brought up to the managing team the first night we were there so hopefully it will be fixed for future renters. Overall the space was great. Plenty of room to spread out and the balcony was beautiful to hang out on.
