GUEST ACCESS
- Guests at Cast Iron Lodge have access to the entire home and its amenities. Enjoy the use of the lakeside pier, canoes, kayaks, paddle board, BBQ, fire pits, laundry room, etc.
-Make use of the WiFi and entertainment system when you're not out on the lake adventuring or hiking nearby trails enjoying the fresh air.
-There is one gravel driveway with parking areas that can hold 6+ cars and trailers, if needed.

SOME NOTES ABOUT THE NORTHWOODS:
- This is in the forests and you will likely see bugs, mice, bats or furry critters (including bears!). We do maintain the property with regular pest control, but due to the surroundings, or if doors are left open, or food is left outside the house, this can attract critters.
- There are no refunds for storms or power outages. If there is a power outage, there will be no water and potentially no heat for a short term. Generator is available.

PLEASE NOTE:
-Summer Guests The absence of modern air conditioning can enhance the rustic charm and authenticity of a log cabin experience. Log cabins are known for their excellent insulation properties, naturally keeping the cabin cooler in the summer. Opening the windows at night to let in the cool air is a smart way to maintain comfort and enjoy the natural breeze and sounds of the outdoors.
-Fall/Winter Please understand, winters are very cold in Northern Wisconsin. Our log home is large with 35 foot ceilings. It can feel drafty at times and when the temperatures drop the furnaces have a hard time keeping up. We cannot fulfill requests to keep the cabin at temperatures above 70 degrees. Prepare for Wisconsin winters.
- The lodge has delicious tasting well water
- Cell phone service is spotty for some in the area, so download the maps offline before arriving.
