The space
Rancho São Jorge is located in the Vale das Princesas, at 1,200 meters above sea level, in an area of 17,000 m² surrounded by the green of the Atlantic Forest of the Rio de Janeiro highlands, practically on the border of Petrópolis and Miguel Pereira. , RJ. It is about 26 km from Petrópolis Center and 82 km from Rio de Janeiro Center.

Our Refuge has a large pool of crystal clear natural water, several options of trails through the forest, fruit trees and various spices, mobile barbecue grills, cabin in the woods, suitable for rest, meditation, studies and contemplation of nature.

The house is fully equipped, new refrigerator and stove, appliances, crockery, bowls, cutlery and utensils for various purposes. It features a suite, two bedrooms and a mezzanine equipped with American Simmons mattresses, king, queen and futon beds, new bedding and 200 thread count sheets. Lounge with mezzanine and piano, dining room, large kitchen, laundry area and balconies.

The region is pure natural landscape offering several alternatives of ecological tours and several options for the extreme sports practitioners: hiking, rivers and waterfalls, mountain biking, horseback riding, motorcycle trails, among other activities. Ideal for those who want to recharge their energy with nature.

Guest Access
Access to all common areas of the property including gardens, pool and trails. Exclusivity of the entire internal area of the house and its surroundings, without sharing with other guests.

We allow dogs and other pets as long as they are docile and do not endanger people or cause property damage. We ask the guardians to make a commitment not to allow the dog on beds, sofas and rugs, bringing mattress and blankets for this purpose. Any damage caused by the dog is the sole responsibility of the guest. Please notify before booking, remembering that we also have other dogs on site.

- We provide all the necessary utensils so that guests can cook their food and serve them with charm and comfort. However, it is necessary to bring all ingredients out, as the nearest market is 1 hour away. There are also no restaurant and bar options, so we offer our personalized culinary service that must be hired and planned at least 72 hours before check-in..

- Domestic services can be hired and arranged in advance..

- All waste produced at the Ranch is separated for proper disposal. We separate organic waste so that it can be deposited with the compost we keep at the Ranch. Glass, plastic, paper, tin and aluminum containers are cleaned, separated and sent to companies that give each one the right destination.
