We came up for a wedding. We would normally bring our camper but, it was the last weekend in October and it has been known to snow that time of the year. We were upgraded to the cabin we stayed in because it "has a better heating system. " When we got there it was cold in the cabin so we turned on both electric baseboard heaters in the 2 bedrooms. After 1 hour it wasn't much better. We ended up getting a space heater from my family and it warmed up enough that we stayed. We had 3 blankets on us and a heated throw blanket. On the morning of the wedding I noted there was an extra heater that looked like a fireplace in the cabin next to us. All in all we loved the cabin and you can't beat the view. The river is within feet of the cabins. I would just suggest that you stay at the cabins when it doesn't get into the 30's at night. And the property manager did find 2 items we forgot. They mailed them to us. Thank you for that! We would stay again!
