We had a lovely time as we were staying for a wedding, however for the price we paid, we were very disappointed with the state of the rooms, they looked old and tired and in need of repair. There was paint off the walls between the bedroom and bathroom, like water damage and the tiles on the floor and walls the same. Badly in need of refurbishment - wouldn't book this hotel again unless we were there for a function, better value elsewhere. 4 star is overrated.

Beautiful surroundings, great golf course, friendly staff. The Alcove was disappointing. The menu was limited with even more limited vegetarian options and it was expensive for what you got. Other than that, great place to stay
