Everyone was wonderfully nice. Breakfast was amazing and the front lobby smelled delightful! For some reason we were given a room made for those in a wheelchair. It was a little annoying but not enough to warrant changing rooms. Overall, 5 stars 🌟!

The staff were all friendly and helpful. The mural wall in our room was coming apart at the seam. All of our towels were stained. We booked a gulf view room thinking we’d have a quiet view, but our room also overlooked a busy “courtyard,” live music, and a bar, so it wasn’t quiet. The room info stated that the store was open 24 hours. We went down at about 7:30 am and it was closed. A sign directed us to the front desk for assistance and they said they didn’t have a key. The food offerings at the onsite restaurant were limited. I was looking forward to seafood and there were only a couple of seafood options, neither of which were of interest to me. The breakfast buffet was hot, fresh, and everything tasted good. Check in was quick and easy. The scent in the lobby and buildings (strong floral—gardenia maybe) can be overwhelming. If you get migraines easily, this may be a trigger.

The website is misleading on what the rooms look like. Apparently they are doing some remodels and we were in the older units. I question if they are changing the quilts every time guest check out.

The Island resort itself was nice, the facility outside bars , pools were all very clean. The Negative, drinks at the bars were way to expensive, food at the restaurants were way to expensive, rooms were clean but could be updated. Walls are very thin in the rooms, you hear all the kids screaming and everyone talking in the hallways. I won’t be back just because of the drink and food prices are so outrageous. Not the friendliest staff either. Just my opinion and I travel a lot.

The rooms at the beach house are amazing. Ocean front with a balcony.. the grounds are well kept although the pools were very cold almost not enjoyable because it was so cold. Prices at bar were a little high for soda 5.00 and water 4.00 a bottle but otherwise was a great stay

Overall was a great experience but some things did occur which made the trip less than excellent. Upon checking in the front desk woman was laughing the entire check in. At one point she had to hide behind the computer because she was laughing while asking questions and checking us in. This didn’t make sense to me and felt rude. When asking questions she responded in a sighing way that made it seem like my questions were stupid or not worth her time. The room itself was nice but there was a very strong smell. Like an older male cologne that did not leave the room for our entire 5 day trip. I even tried to lysol it out. You also cannot control your AC to match your comfort level. It was fine during the day but at night it would kick on for very long period of time and be freezing and then later on hot.You can hear everything around you while in the room so keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper or have kids. This was not an issue for us until the last night, a monday, where we had to catch a flight at 5 am the next day. The artist was suppose to play until 9pm but passed their time by nearly and hour and was very loud. When i called the FD they did not seem to care but after a longer convo they agreed to send security to tell them to turn it down. This never happened. Lastly your paying a resort fee daily but there is nothing exclusive to this place. Anyone can access the beach or pool. Good location and well maintained. But overpriced for what your getting.

Very limited parking, if you leave be back before 3:00pm. The room doors do not seal therefore all the THC smell comes into your room, it goes on all day and night, sadly management does not do anything about it. Extremely over priced drinks, food cost is not too bad but the gift shop is high priced for snacks. Bring your own is the best way. It’s a family place and adults act like it’s a strip club there, very inappropriate. I was very disappointed in my stay.
