Disliked: Amenities, property conditions & facilities
The property is clearly the oldest building in the string of condos, yet it goes for the same amount of money. The photos in the Expedia listing dress it up far more than when you get there.
We were supposed to be there for four days, but on Friday we got a call that a realtor would be showing the unit in the middle of our stay. I wasn’t happy about that, but whatever, it was in the contract they make you sign before you stay, so that is what it it is. To add fuel to the fire, the realtor was over an hour later than we were told. We were there to close on our house, so we had a ton of important documents, social security cards and passports, our computers and electronics but there was no safe or locked area to keep them in so we felt like we had to stay while random people were let into our condo and it wasted a whole day of our vacation. We also weren’t notified about pest control coming to all of the units on Friday and found out through a flyer posted in the elevator upon arrival. When we contacted the rental company, they were short and unhelpful.
Overall, it was so disappointing, I would never stay here again. It was supposed to be a celebratory weekend and it added so much extra stress that we left a day early. Big bummer :(
