Do not be fooled by the listing description as the property is not NEW. Location and grounds were great. However, the carpet was dirty, particularly the stairs. Carpet is frankly a poor choice in this rental. Upon opening the door an odor hits you and this does not improve. The top floor where bedrooms are located is noticeably damp, no matter the AC/fan setting. I saw no mold but there was definitely a damp smell. The larger pool was lukewarm like taking a bath the entire week of our visit. It was not over crowded at any time that we visited. I suspect the pool water is from the rainwater collection process used on the property. There was visible need for better filtering of the pool water. The beach service was great and highly recommend renting chairs and umbrella but do it the day before or this service is not available. We did not use the Beach Club facility or its pool, so no comments regarding it. I would stay again at Lost Key for the beach, but would definitely chose a different townhouse. The curious thing was the property management does not accept any responsibility for the rental's cleanliness. Also, rent directly from the property management if you desire saving money on fees.
