It is a typical Asturian house completely restored in stone and wood.
The house consists of two floors, in the first is located the kitchen, the dining room, the living room and a bathroom and in the second 2 double rooms and one double, the corridor and another bathroom. It also has a large garden which enjoys fabulous views, a barbecue and tables.

The house is located in a small village, between the coast of Llanes and the Picos de Europa and near Potes and cable car of Fuente De, cave of Soplao, Loja and Pindal, Nature Park of Cabarceno, also close to Cobadonga and Lagos. Cangas de Onis,

“Off The Grid” and grateful for it—including the cows and the cowbells! 🐄

We had five lovely, peaceful and restful days at San Julian. Lucio is accommodating from the minute he meets you at the property. The home is well appointed and the description is accurate; it would have been great to know the remoteness of the property prior to arriving, but it worked out just fine. Expect a home-away-from-home experience miles/kilometers from the nearest village. And, to our delight, expect nearly 24-hour, around the clock cow bells from the cows in the pasture—melodic from our perspective. Note the bedrooms are all on the second floor in the event stairs are an issue for an elderly family member. The home, the surroundings and Lucio are exactly what we needed for five days to rejuvenate and to access a slower pace of life while tapping into nearby villages and Picos de Europa National Park (a must do!!). Thank you!

ENCANTADOS

Hemos estados en muchas casas rurales, pero como el trato recibido en este alojamiento ninguno. El dueño Lucio, encantador. Pendiente en todo momento de si necesitábamos algo. Todos los días nos dejaba leña en el porche para encender la chimenea. El lugar ideal, cerca del mar y de los Picos de Europa. En la casa hay un libro, donde la gente que ha pasado por allí cuenta su experiencia, y todos los viajeros son superpositivos. La casa encantadora, calentita como ninguna otra. Muchas gracias Lucio por todo. Volveremos.

Ubicación y alojamiento excelente

Casa típica asturiana en un entorno precioso. La ubicación es perfecta entre Asturias y Cantabria, cerca de Picos de Europa, Santander,... Destaco la limpieza excelente de la casa y el cuidado de detalles insignificantes y que te facilitan la estancia muchísimo (trapos de cocina, balleta y jabón y pastillas lavavajillas, limpiador del baño, fregona, cepillo de barrer, lavadora, cafetera, tostador...) lo único que he echado en falta ha sido un secador de pelo que se agradece en el clima asturiano. El trato de Lucio, el propietario, estupendo, amable y disponible en todo momento. Recomendaré esta casa y seguro que volveremos. Hemos pasado unos días estupendos.

Hemos estado del 1 al 15 de Agosto y ha sido estupendo

Fuimos con niños y perro del 1 al 15 de Agosto, hemos tenido una estancia estupenda, el sitio muy bonito y tranquilo y la casa muy acogedora, el trato del dueño tambien muy bueno, solo echamos en falta UN LAVAVAJILLAS pues al ser bastantes, hemos fregado mucho. Un sitio para recomendar.

Naturaleza y tranquilidad

Fuimos 6 adultos y 2 niñas a pasar un fin de semana y nos alojamos en la CASA SAN JULIAN,la casa fue una maravilla contaba con todo lo necesario para hacer nuestra estancia muy acogedora esta situada en una entorno privilegiado rodeado de naturaleza y aislado del ruido tiene una ubicación bastante buena para conocer otros lugares. Si quieres desconectar del mundanal ruido de la ciudad esta aldea tiene todo lo que uno necesita. Un saludo a Lucio y su mujer por el trato tan bueno que nos dieron. REPETIREMOS!!!!

muy satisfechos

Somos una familia de Girona siendo nuestra primera vez de visita a Asturias . Pasamos nuestros días en casa San Julián. La casa tiene mucho encanto y es auténtica. La casa es muy caliente. La ducha es perfecta, ya la quisiera yo en mi casa. Hay todo lo necesario pero la casa no pierde su aire que vives en otra época. El paisaje es de cuento. Eso es. Una casa de cuento en un paisaje de cuento. Lucio y su mujer son muy amables. Lucio nos enseñó a encender la chimenea, nos aconsejó lugares y rutas que visitar. Tienen una perrina muy cariñosa que nos enamoró a todos, sobretodo a las niñas. Esperamos volver a casa San Julián . Gracias. ¡YA TENÉIS UN TROCITO DE NUESTRO CORAZÓN PARA SIEMPRE.!

Entorno fabuloso y Calidad-Precio inmejorable

Somos un matrimonio con 2 hijos que hemos pasado 15 días en la casita que tienen mas pequeña, y la verdad es que ha sido maravilloso, maravilloso el entorno, maravilloso el trato con Lucio y su esposa. La casita en la que estuvimos era la pequeña, pero para los cuatro nos fue de lujo, en la planta alta estaba la habitación que tenia la cama de matrimonio, una camita pequeña, y la cuna de viaje que pusimos nosotros para la peque, el armario un poco pequeño. En la planta baja estaba el comedor-cocina al que no le faltaba de nada, nevera, microondas, cocina eléctrica, tv, solo le faltaba la lavadora, pero la mujer de Lucio nos lavaba la ropa todas las veces que se la llevábamos(fuimos un poco pesados, por que con dos niños, ya se sabe) el entorno es precioso, tranquilo y muy cerca esta el pueblo de Panes en el que pasamos muchas tardes y en el que nos sentimos como si fuera nuestro, en verdad os digo que si queréis pasar unos días por Asturias, no dudéis en llamar a Lucio, la calidad-precio es inmejorable.

Sitio precioso y tranquilidad absoluta, las casas estupendas y con buena calefaccion . Alquilamos las dos casas para 8 adultos y 6 niños y pasamos un fin de semana envidiable y eso que casi no paró de llover . El trato con el propietario muy bueno . Muy recomendable .

5 AMIGOS DECIDIMOS PASAR 3 DIAS EN FIN DE AÑO EN LA CASA SAN JULIAN, UN SITIO PRECIOSO, EL TRATO DEL DUEÑO "LUCIO" FUE MUY ACOGEDOR, A LA CASA NO LE FALTABA DETALLE, SUS PAISAJES Y RUTAS INCREIBLES , FUIMOS CON DOS PERRINOS QUE GOZARON TANTO O MAS QUE NOSTROS, SIN DUDA UN SITIO PARA REPETIR, LO ACONSEJAMOS A CUALQUIERA QUE QUIERA PASAR UNOS DIAS AISLADO DEL RUIDO DE LA CIUDAD, DONDE PODRAS DESCONECTAR DEL MUNDO Y VIVIR UNA INCREIBLE EXPERIENCIA. Pues eso. Estuvimos 4 días de enero de 2014, 5 adultos y dos galgos y, la verdad, no podemos encontrar un pero a la casa. Equipamiento completo, limpia, acogedora, bien provista de leña para la chimenea, en un entorno fantástico, super tranquilo, para dormir como lirones después de hacer alguna de sus maravillosas rutas, con una barbacoa a la que sacar partido, y unas mesas fuera que por ser el mes que era no le pudimos sacar partido, pero que con el buen tiempo.... En fin, unos días perfectos. Mención aparte merece Lucio, el dueño. Encantador, muy atento, (nos tenía la calefacción encendida y el fuego encendido el día que llegamos), conoce un montón de rutas... De verdad, que un 10 en todo. Sin duda, volveremos.

UNA BONITA ESTANCIA!!!

Estuvimos en "Casa San Julián" mi marido, mis padres y yo seis días. La casa está muy bien. Es muy bonita y típica. Tiene de TODO en la cocina que eso no lo encuentras en todas (y hemos estado en unas cuantas). El primer día había fiesta en el pueblo y por la noche se oía bastante la orquesta pero el dueño ya me había avisado, un buen detalle por su parte ya que se nos dio otra vez el mismo caso solo que no nos avisaron y ese día necesitábamos descansar. El lugar es muy tranquilo, ideal para descansar pero también está a pocos kilómetros de los principales lugares de interés. En general, muy bien, volveríamos, sin lugar a dudas.

vacaciones extraordinarias.

Hemos estado unos dias en Cavandi descansando y disfrutando del paisaje asturiano. Es un sitio muy bonito y muy tranquilo. Esta muy bien situado, a 5 minutos en coche de restaurantes y otros servicios. (Panes) También esta muy cerca de los lagos de Covadonga, la ruta del Cares, Potes y la costa de LLanes. La casa es muy bonita y acogedora, en un entorno natural muy agradable. El trato de los dueños fue muy familiar. Tienen una perrita muy cariñosa y unos caballos muy chulos para dar unos paseos. Heerlijk rustige plek met fantastisch uitzicht. Buiten de toeristische drukte maar centraal ten op zichte van vele lokale en regionale wandel, bergsport en cultuur locaties, mits je eigen vervoer hebt. Authentiek Spaans huis dat voorzien is van moderne faciliteiten. Schoon, eenvoudig uitgerust in een knusse sfeer. Gemakkelijk koel of juist warm te houden, met open haard, barbecue en ruim balkon en tuin. Wij waren er als gezin en hebben van de lokale wandelroutes en dorpen genoten, afgewisseld met pittige bergwandelingen in het centrale massief van de Pico’s. Handig als je Spaans spreekt maar met een vertaal app kom je ook een eind. De regio heeft heel veel en diverse dingen te bieden, van stilte tot avontuur, van natuur tot cultuur. Fantastisch om naast je grote plannen ook spontaan dorpjes, wandelpaadjes en wat je aandacht op de kaart of borden langs de weg trekt. Een aanrader!

Es una zona muy tranquila, fuimos con los peques y el perro y estuvimos fenomenal. No hay tienda ni bar en el mismo Cavandi. La casa tiene todo lo necesario para hacer allí la comida, incluso barbacoa.

Excellent sejour à Cavandi. Le calme, la vue sur les montagnes, une maison typique asturienne, le son des cloches des vaches. Un havre de paix Point de chute ideal avec des enfants, car à 25 min de la belle plage de la Franca et à equidistance des 3 accès pour visiter et randonner dans les pics d Europe.
