The desk clerk told me that no handi-capped rooms were available. Yet the hotel was virtually empty that night. I asked for a senior discount and was told that the rate given included the discount yet when I reviewed the billing, no discount was given. Very disappointed with the check-in procedure. So-so stay in Pella.

No one at the front desk, but a sign saying dial zero for help. This was there the whole stay. Key did not work for the room. Changed rooms, the room was ok, but no clock in the room. No paper towel in the machine in the lobby men’s room. Breakfast was ok, except sausage gravy was warm, not hot. Coffee in the lobby was hot and good.

Basic but clean and comfortable

This is a basic motel, about 2 miles outside the charming town of Pella. I was pleased with the cleanliness, the excellent shower, and decent mattress. Breakfast was ok, in line with expectations.
