there was a hockey team of teenagers staying there and they’d be yelling and running up and down the halls all evening until midnight. Perhaps the hotel should block off an entire wing or floor to separate the team from other guests.

The linen in room were not fresh, you can smell them as they were not changed for a while. There were multiple visual spots in room that had dirt and dust. This is unacceptable if you are paying a hefty amount for staying a night in such a named hotel. Couldn’t expect this to happen. I raised the concern at the hotel reception and they mentioned that the hotel management will revert.

Breakfast space is so tiny, 1 slow waffle station (clubbed with oats) right after the toast section.. so you are lining up !! And for a long time! Also the eggs refill was barely done- only got 1 egg each for me and my partner when we reached for breakfast at 9 am! Its the holiday season (thanksgiving weekend) when the prices are high .. like literally over double.. so at the very least you should make sure you have enough food for the guests.. The rooms were clean but again in terms of privacy,poor coz you can literally hear every word spoken, every door opened/ shut in your floor passage so if someone is up at 6.30/7 and talking in your passage. you inevitably will wake up. So that needs to be managed way better! Also the pool : from 2-4 feet only- quite tiny. So was the gym. A poor to average experience! Wouldnt go again.

It’s good. Only one thing that not perfect. I stayed on Monday morning and it’s thanksgiving so it’s a holiday. That said breakfast time for holidays is 7-10, but they ended at 9:30, and they said because it’s Monday.

Conveniently located a block from the airport this brand new hotel has everything you need except a hotel bar. The suite I was in, had a very large desk, which was wonderful for a working vacation, but would also double as a great table as it had access for chairs on both sides. I initially could not find the closet because the barn doors for the bathroom cover the closet when they are open, I was a little confused unpacking, but figured it out The fitness centre is well equipped, the front desk staff are amazing and the complementary breakfast in the morning was satisfactory. I would definitely stay at this hotel again unless I need to be downtown thunder Bay.

I generally love this hotel. I’ve stayed a few times now and it’s beautiful and perfectly located and the staff is so kind and quick to help. However, this time I was on the ground level floor which is next to the lobby. It was extremely loud up until around 1-2am as the lobby is huge and an open concept, the noise echoed down the hall and it was insane. I did not sleep at all those 3 nights I stayed. Whoever designed the hotel should not have put any rooms next to be the lobby. Otherwise, love the hotel, just won’t stay on the ground level ever again.
