It is hard to be critical of the motel itself. If you have to stay in Parkes, then I guess this is as good as any motel, actually I'm sure there is much worse. Overall the property is pretty much what I expected, it's a motel. The only staff member I met was welcoming and nice. The room was neat and everything worked. I'd only make two comments, if the pool is out of service, don't advertise the place as having a pool, it is one of the reasons we chose this place. Fair enough if the pool was just closed but this was a fairly last minute booking and the pool was green so... Secondly, on a day that hit 41C it would have been nice to run the air con for a little until we arrived. In summary, its probably one of the better places in Parkes.
