Spring break getaway

Clean, updated facility that catered to many different age groups. Easy access to water sports and food. Melissa at the front desk was amazing, informative and friendly ever time we saw her. Would absolutely come back.

Awesome Staff but Needs a Make-over

Pros: Staff, definitely!
Cons: Upgrade rooms to modern hospitality style and a convenient Starbucks.
Location: Close to several water sports rental places.
Sorry but I did not retain any names. One of the most friendly places that I have ever visited. Front Desk and even the Housekeeping were always friendly. I like my water room temperature and the convenience store only had it in coolers, a nearby staff overheard my conversation with the clerk and offered me a room-temperature water that she had. The condition of the property and rooms was not good. The rooms were not clean and in disrepair. There was a layer of hardened dust at the upper rim of the shower and the shower also had black grime on bottom (even a hair on the wall). Light switch was coming apart as well as part of the blinds. I think the cleanliness is more a result of the age of the room as the furniture appeared clean. With the attitude of the staff a make-over to a more modern appearance would make this a top-notch resort. One improvement might be drawing a Starbucks location to somewhere in the hotel or on the resort. There is one across the highway but that is not very pedestrian-friendly. Brewed coffee may have been sufficient for most in 1990 but today people want espresso options and will pay a little more for it. If I hear that the rooms have been upgraded I will return, otherwise I might try the resort on the opposite side of the bridge.

Old, Dirty Hotel

Pros: Nothing! However, we did have a very nice waiter in the restaurant.
Cons: Everything! They need to do some major updating! Paint, new carpet, new shower, bathtub, etc.. The deck furniture was a joke.
Location: The location is excellent! That is what they are charging you for. Certainly not the room!!
This hotel was such a huge disappointment. This was a prime example of bait and switch. It is certainly not worth $300 per night. It was dirty, smelled of stale smoke, had a broken shower door, mold in the bathroom, etc. The view was the garbage dumpsters. The gorgeous water view that was shown online was no where to be seen from this room. We stayed for one night in this king suite and were going to move to a double queen for an additional $50/night? Really?? We just couldn't spend that amount of money for such accommodations. I have never given a bad review before but really wanted to save someone else a ruined vacation.

Great Value for a quick getaway!

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
We wanted a quiet hotel for a post holiday getaway. This hotel totally delivered: comfortable bed, quiet room ( we did request a room away from the restaurant/lounge area),location was excellent; we could walk to most of the major attractions/ shops, and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered us an upgrade to a one bedroom suite, which I would totally recommend. We received discounts on the hotel restaurants, and the food was very good, and excellent service. We did go during the winter/ off season, so the pool area / bar was not open, many of the local shops were closed, but we still found plenty to do,and lots of walking paths around the lake. The hotel is fairly old, but rich with history. Clean, quiet,and great value!! We will stay again!

Love the 2 bedroom Suite with kids

Wonderful view clean room nice kitchen fully equipped. Renovations a little tacky but liveable for the price! Stayed 3 nights. 3rd night was free. So ended up being * a night. With 2 kids under 5 it was perfect!

Beautiful Resort!

I recently stayed at the London Bridge Resort for a long weekend. This was my first time in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The Resort has the best location on the Lake!! It is along the Channel and directly next to the historic London Bridge. I stayed in a very nice studio suite that had a terrific view of the channel! There are several bar / lounges on the property and I enjoyed having a cocktail at the recently opened Style Lounge. The bartenders were very friendly and there a was fun crowd. I would strongly recommend this resort to anyone who is looking to spend a couple nights in Lake Havasu!
