Super friendly folks at the desk on check-in. The room far exceeded my expectations. Plenty of amenities to enjoy. The view from the room was breathtaking. Will definitely find an excuse to return at some point in the future!

We love this hotel! It’s so nice love the steam room, sauna, hot tub, and pool. The restaurant is really great too. Very comfortable rooms with lots of space.

Nice location but will not return.
Nice restaurant with close proximity to Heber City and Park City. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and staff were friendly. The restaurant is way overpriced. The AC unit in our room was incredibly loud when it kicked on at night, loud enough to wake my wife and I, which is odd given how new the resort seems. The shower was ok. Not sure the obsession with this "half glass" approach where water sprays all over the ground. Additionally, the hot water was a bit lacking. The entertainment room is nice with all of the amenities. That said, even with all the positive, the AC noise was enough that we won't return to this location for the price.

Great hotel. It was very clean and the staff is amazing. Can’t say enough about how accommodating and helpful they all are. My only complaint is the beds are really soft and I’m use to sleeping on a firm bed but I would still stay again and recommend

Black Rock Mountain is basic at best. Layout of room was nice. But room wasn’t clean and beds were falling apart. Squeaking with every little movement. There is major construction/addition being worked on currently. No one ever came to make beds or pick up towels during our stay.

Spring Break Travel
The price was good for our stay which is peak season. Pro: proximity to Park City 10 mins drive with no traffic, hotel is nice and cozy, friendly staff with a great family center. The family center has games to entertain the kids. Con: do not clean rooms, we needed to request towels, our phones didn’t work so need to walk to front desk for any requests and shuttle takes a long time for pickup returning back to hotel

Coldest room I have ever been in
Way over priced not even close to Salt Lake city as listed on Hotels. The hotel is under ground. I was expecting the mountain view as atated when reserving. Kind of hard to see the mountain when your half under ground. Rooms are like a galley long and narrow. The most coldest hotel room I have ever been in. I had to turn it to 76 and go to dinner and come back before it was bareable. Heater is loud and noisey. The door does not seal you can see right in my door.

Hidden Gem
If you're looking for a fantastic place to stay near Park City, Black Rock is the perfect choice. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the entrance was beautifully designed. The unit itself was spacious, clean, and very inviting, with the added bonus of plenty of hot water. The kitchen had all the basic essentials you'd need. Beds were comfortable. The free shuttle service to four major stops was incredibly convenient, especially since some reviews mentioned difficulties with Uber/Lyft. We didn't encounter any problems getting around to places the shuttle didn't reach. The hotel staff were all friendly and knowledgeable about local activities. Ski rental is available onsite, but I recommend only renting skis there if you have your own transportation or plan to use the free shuttle to Park City or Deer Valley. We went to Woodward and had to Uber with our skis, which was inconvenient. Renting at Woodward would have been a better option. The onsite restaurant's food wasn't the best; it was often slow to be served and a bit bland. However, the skillet cookie and ice cream were delicious. The bar was excellent, with Holly making fantastic drinks and being very friendly. They also have live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights in the bar area. Unfortunately, the pool wasn't working, but the hot tub was amazing.
