The boy at check in should smile a little more. I have been at this hotel so many times but the check in boy shows nil acknowledgement at all which is not at all welcoming. I would rather stay at another hotel if I could just because of how unwelcoming he is!! Otherwise quiet calm stay.

We booked a basic room, and it was only basic. But you get what you pay for. Room fine but dated, shower tap fell off in my hand and soap holder broken, room could do with an upgrade. The air con very noisy but there was a backup oil heater. Outside the window was uninviting as the grass could do with some mowing. Breakfast brilliant and staff extremely helpful.

On our first morning, we had the Do Not Disturb up as we had worked late the previous night. 10.30 am we had a note left that there would be no room service as staff finished at 11 or 11.30. Very disappointing.
