Everything was okay except check in
Everything was okay except for the check in. Our room was not yet available and we were told to wait. After some "arguing" with the front desk, they decided to give us another room. They initially told us that additional fees will be collected since it is a more expensive room. I told them I wont be paying any additional amount since it is not our fault.

I wasn't as I had thought, but everyone was friendly. It took a couple of days to fiqure things out. It's cheaper to use their take out, than take trike into town and eat that way. We just ordered extra and had it for lunch the next day.

Amazing hotel with amazing staff
This was by far the most amazing hotel we stayed at in the Philippines. We thank Cheryl and the entire team for a five star stay. Room: Comfortable bed, strong AC, cold fridge. Blankets available on request. Bathroom has very hot water that never runs out. Quality toiletries in large quantity. Wifi is generally good but is the one area to improve. Common areas: Beautiful property with lovely palm trees and large deep pool. Highlight of the property. Kitchen that you can use. Service: Impeccable service here. Room ready 3h early. Reasonable rate for late checkout (6pm was possible!) Organized port pickup flawlessly at the last minute. Motorbike rental is not the cheapest but they are flexible and can do half day rates too. Every single request immediately accommodated and the employees seem to love their job. Area: you might need a bike but has two of the best restaurants in town nearby. We walked to the airport on our way out. We absolutely want to return one day and highly recommend this hotel.

Great place
The property was great. Rooms and toilets are clean. There is a common kitchen you can use. Super friendly and helpful staff. One thing I would suggest to the management is to train their staff on basic fire fighting and check fire extinguishers regularly. There was a minor fire incident during our stay and the staff does not know how to use the fire extinguisher. We (I and another guest) had to do it. Also, some fire extinguishers are non functional. There was no pressure.

Overall, satisfied guest here.
Booked in this hotel twice.. and also recommended this hotel to my cousins. Will consider booking again next time. The place is quiet and not that far to alona beach. Staff are kind and very accommodating. The only thing that needs improvement is the bathroom at room 1 in de luxe villa. The sink is draining slowly and the toilet bowl takes time to fill up water when use by multiple people in short intervals.
