We had a wonderful stay! We came to the NSW coast for whale watching and were greeted by both whales and kangaroos on our arrival — an unforgettable welcome. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The sea view was beautiful, and the hosts were friendly, helpful, and very responsive. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

A great second stay

This was our second stay at whale tail, we loved it. Great location and view. Quiet but a walk to the beach and short drive to Pambula or Merimbula. House is comfortable and clean. Will happily recommend and stay again.

A great little beach house for a family of 3 (or 4).

Whale Tail ticked all the boxes for us. As a family of 3 we often find the houses we look at just too big for what we need. This was the perfect size, clean and neat with two living areas and a great deck so we could get away time from each other as well. The memory of sipping coffee whilst looking at the ocean in the morning from the deck will get me through the winter! Bonus was that it's dog friendly so we could bring our pooch AND it has an outdoor shower for washing off the sand. And it really is only a few minutes walk to the beach or the river.

The place is perfect for a weekend away with awesome mates (including a well-behaved pupperoo). Our hosts were AMAZING in every communication and an absolute delight to deal with! Treat yourself to this place. It's wonderful, on so, so many levels.

Tranquil getaway with fantastic location

A stunning location with beautiful ocean views and backing onto the national park and trails down to the river mouth. We enjoyed a very relaxing stay in a comfortable beach house with everything you could need for a short stay. The house was exceptional clean, light and airy and the location was incredible. Andrew, the host was responsive from the outset and provided real assurance that nothing would be too much trouble (not that we needed anything), access was easy and as above the location stunning. Pet and kid friendly - furnishings were both comfortable and functional. Highly recommended to anyone wanting a break five minutes walk from the beach and equally anyone who enjoys having nature in the backyard and access to the expanse of the National Park and its trails. Pambula and Pambula Beach are now our favourite coastal destinations on the East Coast based on this stay! Thanks Andrew and Adriana

Fantastic stay

We loved our stay in this comfortable, clean and very nicely decorated house with everything you need. Communication with the host was exceptional. We loved the sea view and the quiet neighborhood and in general Pambula Beach and nearby Pambula with its great restaurants. The area is stunning and beautiful. Would love to come back.
