A beautifully restored House situated in an 18th Century listed building, located in the centre of vibrant Palafrugell (Girona). The complete house has been divided in 3 nice apartments named “Can Felip”.

The place is decorated with a mixture of Antique and contemporary furnishings to offer all confort. The apartment is equipped with a WIFI connection.

In the town of Figueres (at 40Km) you will find Salvador’s Dali Museum. At 10 Km is La Bisbal d'Empordà famous for its ceramics. Close by are the Roman ruins at Ullestret, and many other historic medieval villages. Girona - capital of the province, with its Roman and Arabic history which can be seen in the old part of the city, also has a modern side, with great shopping, restaurants and night clubs (a 35 minutes drive).
Enjoy the surrounding secluded beaches of: Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc or Tamariu (3km). Small sandy bays with rocky headlands, pine trees and clean water. Or if you prefer (10 miuntes by car) you’ll find the wide-open 3.5 kilometre long Pals beach with the Medes Islands in the background. Its special topography makes it the ideal spot to practice all types of water sports like windsurfing.
The hills of the Gavarres, (10 min.drive) are well known for walking and mountain bike.
SURROUNDING AREA: Only a few kilometres from Palafrugell, in the town of L’Estartit, is the Medes Islands Marine Reserve, an archipelago formed by seven small islands that are admired the world over by people who practise underwater sports. A perfect place to practise: scuba diving, sea watching, snorkelling... and you don’t need to be an expert, because you will find professionals who will guide you and show you the most marvellous places in this privileged sea bed.
On foot or by bicycle and at your own speed browse as far as you like, along the network of 350km of paths that is currently to be found at the Costa Brava, or through the rice fields or along the dunes of the beach, to magnificent viewpoints at the seaside or the archaeological remains of the Empordà...and of course, along the coastal paths: an impressive route that comes down to the sea between cliffs and joins up all the beaches of the Costa Brava.
ACTIVITIES / LEISURE: In Palafrugell every Sunday the town holds its weekly market, where you will find everything you need, while the daily marketprovides fruit, vegetables, meat and fish.
In June, don’t miss the Spring Festival celebrations, featuring the grand parade of floats.
Another part of the municipality is made up of the nuclei of Calella, Llafranc and Tamariu, on the coast. These former fishermen’s districts have become important tourist centres thanks to the beauty of their setting and their wide variety of restaurants and activities. The old fishermen’s neighbourhoods grew up around the coves and they have conserved their nautical tradition; here, in the summertime, you can enjoy the concerts of havaneres (sailors’ songs), the most famous of which is held in Calella.
Another emblematic spot is the cape of Sant Sebastià, with its lighthouse, a chapel and the remains of an Iberian settlement. Nearby, in Calella, you can also visit the castle and botanical garden of Cap Roig.

We enjoyed the apartment and the town of Palafrugell and the parking was very convenient. The old furniture was very dusty inside so we had to unpack our clothing into the drawers under the couch in the living area which was not very convenient. The kitchen was well equipped but there could have been some basic essentials provided such as salt, pepper, oil etc as well as coals and lighting options for the barbeque. However, overall it was good accomodation.

We loved our stay at Can Felip. Beautiful decor combined with functionality ensured we wanted for nothing. The roof top terrace was a special space, both day and night for lounging in the sun, pre dinner drinks, and bbq for dinner. Highly recommended.

Great Location!
Overall our stay at Can Felipe was excellent; the best location within Palafrugell.However, there is no cooker, only a hob which wouldn’t have mattered if we were staying for a week, but a month was a bit restrictive. That said, there is an excellent bbq on the roof terrace and some good restaurants.

Cute penthouse apartment in the center of Palafrugell
Nicely decorated apartment with big terrace and solid equipped kitchen. Free parking not possible in the city centre therefore, you need to walk a little. Overall would warmly recommend.

Lovely apartment with veranda on the 4th floor.
We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment is exactly as described, a large kitchen with dining table and a spacious bedroom with big double bed at one end and living room area at the other. The building itself is very old and has been renovated with great attention to detail and the finish is superb. The overall look is very charming and we loved our short stay and will hopefully one day come back again. Outside there is a tiled veranda with sun loungers and rack for drying cloths. The shower room is big enough for two and accessible from the kitchen diner.
The apartment is on the top floor (4th) and you need to climb stairs to reach it (no lift). This was OK for us, but perhaps not for someone older or less mobile. The apartment also has free Wi-Fi (which was great as no phone signal) and a couple of TV's (that we didn't use). On the ground floor there is a great little bar that also does coffee, breakfast etc. The area is generally quiet and peaceful.
The building located in the centre of Palafrugell, which is a large market town a few miles inland from the coast. There are plenty of restaurants very close by and the town has a large street market everyday and an extra large market on Sunday so it's easy to get fresh groceries and local provisions. There is a bus stop at the end of the street, 2 minutes from the apartment and buses run once or twice everyday to Tamariu, Llafranc and Calella de Palafrugel. All are well worth a visit and the coastal walk that connects them is challenging at times but something we'd recommend for the adventurous as the views and landscape are a joy.
The owner Gemma was great, very professional and helpful. Making the booking was easy and straight forward. We were a bit late arriving to the property due to a delayed flight, but we were met by the lovely Mrs Laura who was very helpful and got us settled in quickly. The service overall was fantastic and I am very happy to recommend this property and we hope to visit again soon.

Geschmackvolle Wohnung in zentraler Lage
Die Wohnung ist im dritten Stock eines historischen Gebäudes. Die alten Möbel, Bilder und Farben passen gut dazu. Das Bett hat eine bequeme Matratze, die Küchengeräte sind neu und fuktionieren einwandfrei. Bad, Küche und Möbel waren sauber, unter dem Bett und in den Ecken müsste auch mal wieder gereinigt werden. Trotz der zentralen Lage am Marktplatz ist es nachts ruhig.

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und unseren Urlaub hier sehr genossen. Kann man nur empfehlen und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Unglaublich schön ist auch der Markt gleich vor der Tür, wo man alle Lebensmittel tagesfrisch erhält inclusive eines großen Fischmarktes. Die Verkäufer sind alle sehr herzlich und auch die Menschen in der Stadt grüßen mit einem Lächeln. Unsere Bewertung ist Daumen nach oben. Die Spülmaschine könnte jedoch mal nachgeschaut werden und für 4 Personen zum schlafen ist das Sofa nicht zu gebrauchen aber für 2 top.
