Best Western Plus Walkerton absolutely blew us away. The hotel was spotless, cozy, and peaceful—but what made it exceptional was the staff, especially Sherry. She is the heart of this hotel. If there were an award for Employee of the Year across the entire Best Western company, it should go to her without question. Sherry is not only warm and welcoming, she’s incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of the hotel—from amenities to operations—and even helped guide us around the local area. Her attention to detail, her kindness, and her genuine care for guests made our stay unforgettable. She made us feel like family. The pool was the perfect temperature and our kids (ages 6 and 7) had the best time. The breakfast? Out of this world. Fresh, hot, and delicious. The 24/7 coffee bar was amazing, and the hot chocolate machine should be internationally recognized. The beds were unbelievably comfy with the softest sheets ever. We slept like absolute royalty. Every staff member we encountered was kind, helpful, and professional. If you’re staying in Walkerton—this is where you want to be. Hotels wish they could. Sherry for President of Hospitality.

Construction zone. Not able to use the end stairs. Tub in our room wasn't very clean and A/C was visibly dirty as well!! But rest of the room and amenities were great!!! Thank you for another wonderful stay!!!

We stayed during a busy weekend. Maybe a hockey tournament? Breakfast was insanely busy and there were no pool towels. Hotel was extra noisy with kids running and screaming in the halls late at night and early in the morning. Staff are pleasant. Breakfast is delicious.
