Welcome to Blue Heron Lodge, your ultimate Cayuga Lake getaway! This Adirondack-style home blends modern amenities with upstate NY charm. Enjoy a powered boat lift, dock, canoe, paddle boat, and rowboat. The main floor offers a luxury kitchen, living/dining area, two bedrooms, and a half bath. Upstairs, two semi-private loft bedrooms include one with an en-suite bath. The basement features a living room, full bath, and gym. Relax on the deck, screened porch, or 150’ of private lakefront. EV charger.



The Space:

Welcome to ultimate lake vacation on the shore of Cayuga lake. Blue Heron Lodge features a combination of modern amenities with the classic Adirondack style vacation home. Bring your boat with access to a powered boat lift and dock or enjoy the provided paddle boat, canoe, and row boat. The main floor features a luxury kitchen, dining and living space, along with two bedrooms and a half bathroom. There are two separate semi-private open loft bedrooms upstairs one of which has an attached bathroom. In the basement you’ll find an additional living room, full bathroom, and gym equipment. Outside enjoy a large deck and screened in porch overlooking the water. There is a back lawn directly off the deck in addition to the 150’ of private lake frontage. Access the lake via stairs from the backyard (52 stairs is appx 3.5 flights of steps). Bring your electric vehicle and utilize our level 2 EV charger. Note if you’re bringing a boat it will need to be launched from a public marina as there is no vehicle access to water on property.



The Neighborhood:

The property is located on the West side of Cayuga lake within a few miles of notable wineries such as Thirsty Owl, Cayuga Ridge, and Six Eighty Cellars. Drive to Downtown Ithaca or Cornell University in 35 minutes, Watkins Glen is also 35 minutes away.



Getting Around:

Parking for up to 6 vehicles. Due to the rural nature of the home Uber/Lyft access is limited. During the winter four-wheel drive is highly recommended.



Other Things to Note:

Professionally managed with 24/7 emergency maintenance available. Note that two of the bedroom are open style lofts. Security cameras: exterior security cameras cover the driveway and backyard of the property.

We had a fantastic week long stay at this house with 10 adults and 1 kid! The lake and area were quiet but with lots of wineries convenient by boat or car. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We rented a boat for the majority of the week which made getting around the lake easier. The company we rented the boat from said the dock was a fair weather dock which caused issues for keeping the boat overnight, I'm not sure if this was that specific company or the dock itself but something to look into if you do a boat rental. We were able to swim off the shore at the house and play yard games in the flat area of the yard. There are quite a few steps down to the dock but not a big issue. The workout area, kitchen, and living spaces were great. There are two full bathrooms and what they consider a half bath in the listing actually has a tub as well. The host was quick to answer any questions we had. Overall an exceptional stay!

Pictures do not do this propety justice! Also, there is a 3rd bathroom. It had everything we needed, and it was very clean. The beach area was perfect for our family. We took the boat out and ended the evening at the fireplace with s'mores. The view from the deck was amazing! We all loved sitting on the rockers and looking out at the lake. During my stay, I had a few questions and they responded withon minuets. I cannot say enough about this property, we were.sad to leave!!!
