We took my son and his friend during their spring break. Since the weather was to chilly to swim in the ocean i chose the Hilton Garden Inn because they offered so many other amenities. Not only are they ocean front with direct beach access. They have a private fishing pier as well. We really enjoyed the HEATED indoor pool and hot tub after a chilly day out on the beach and pier. We plan on returning during the summer to check out the outdoor pool and tiki hut they offer as well. Another great thing about this hotel is you are right across the street/within walking distance to gift shops, Duck Donuts and a coffee shop. This was all around a great spot for a family vacation. The staff at the Hilton Garden Inn were special all on their own. We were greated with a smile from every member off staff we came across. Everyone was so helpful and kind. We had no issues while we were there. And the 2 times i did have to ask for help at the front desk they were so quick to respond and get us taken care of. We will absolutely be returning in the future. I did not buy the breakfast package offered when booking,only because we dont always get up ready for breakfast. I had planned on just paying for it if we went. They have a entire restaurant available for breakfast and dinner. Upon checking in i was offered to sign up for their rewards program. Since i signed up i was given free breakfast vouchers for the entire length of our stay. I couldnt be more pleased with the Hilton Garden Inn.

My only complaint was that there was a dog on our floor so every time we went in or out the dog barked. Put all animals on the same floor as to not disturb others.

Lovely clean bright lighting, spacious. The nicest welcome ever: thank you, Lauren. Excellent little open shop arrangement. Pretty good chef. Superb fish and sea life displays, super clean and clear! Lack of a kids’ dinner menu rather a surprise, with three picky eaters in tow. Oddly, a member of reception staff could not say whether our room would be cleaned each day? (4 nights). The indoor pool had clogged French drains, and not surprisingly the areas surrounding the pool were not cleaned. Excellent sound-proofing and air-conditioning, conducive to good sleep. Would happily return, and recommend. Stands out as exceptional, for a beach hotel.

Lovely spot....room was terrific...and there's even a bar and restaurant downstairs. Staff was friendly and helpful. And the property is a convenient drive to many other places in Nags Head I wished to visit. Very happy with my choice!

Our room had been smoked in and they were fully booked so we were unable to change rooms. To the credit of the staff, the offered us a few options such as an ozone machine or scent bomb. They handled it promptly. There was peeling wallpaper in the bathroom that made the unit feel unkempt. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were adequate but not outstanding.
