Take it easy at this unique and tranquil Appalachian getaway by a nearby babbling creek and home to a variety of wildlife. Just off the beaten path of #441, a few minutes drive through some beautiful countryside. Enjoy Hannah Mountain Lodge with its modern comforts and great Starlink WiFi connectivity throughout. A spacious two bedrooms with king beds and choice of two pull out sofas, one in the balcony while the other, in lower living room. We also have a twin size mattress available with linens upon request. You will enjoy a practically new kitchen with all new appliances and other updates with comfort in mind, while you will still feel as though you stepped into the turn of the century with many antiques and family artifacts this home shares.
Guests will have easy access in the lovely Appalachian Mountains with wonderful hiking trails and waterfalls, lakes, wildlife and sightseeing in nearby towns such as Franklin, Clayton, Sky Valley, Highlands and the entire plateau. After you’ve ventured out, you can always come back to soak in your hot tub. We hope you enjoy what our place and all that the area has to offer.

Cutie holiday weekend

We had the absolute best time here! The house was cozy, beautiful and just the perfect place for a getaway in the mountains. We came here to stay for a reunion weekend with friends, and were able to bring our dog! A lot of the other places didn’t allow dogs, and this was a major plus, as we wanted to be able to bring our lab for the weekend too. We hiked Tallulah, and had such good food in Clayton. Maria was so thoughtful to give us some recommendations and always answered so quickly. We were already speaking about coming back again to visit. 10/10 cannot recommend this place enough!

This cabin is in a great location to enjoy all the activities in North Georgia and the Western Carolinas, Hike to numerous waterfalls, fish for trout or pan for gems. Whatever you want to do is only a few minutes away. You can even spend the day rocking in a rocking chair on a lovely porch or soak in the hot tub and never leave the cabin. Maria’s cabin is wonderful.

Quiet, peaceful, babbling brook and bird serenity.

The property was amazing, spacious, quiet, had everything you need for a great vacation.Great location. Nearest grocery store and restaurants 13 minute drive to Franklin, NCSo many wonderful waterfalls nearby 30-40 minute drive.i highly recommend Dry falls, Rufus Falls and Tallulah fall. Smokey mountains Cherokee visiting center is 1 hour drive. Wonderful experience seeing Elk, old farmhouse buildings, clean bathrooms and gift shop. We had the best time and enjoyed the beautiful views out the windows of the cabin. Our best times were sitting on the porch with our coffee listening to the babbling brook and birds.

Wonderful cabin in the woods

The cabin had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay! Maria thought of every last detail. The king size bed downstairs was very comfortable, plenty of extra blankets if needed. The kitchen was great to prepare meals in. Loved using the gas range. Beautiful antiques throughout the house.

Amazing anniversary getaway
