Opened in 1914, Hotel Leopold maintains its old-world charm. I loved its atmosphere, its host and staff, and its amazing breakfast! It also has a great internet connection.

A most charming hotel in a perfectly located Jugend-style building. Very helpful & friendly staff and a superb breakfast w home-made bread, soft/runny boiled eggs etc. Also ask for a really good place to dine nearby (you get 10% as guest of Leopold).. Thank you!

Marie and Ingvar are wonderful hosts, helped us with transportation issues and were very kind. Their hotel is “old world” charming, with good natural light to brighten up the cozy common areas. We especially enjoyed meeting other travelers during breakfast and at the end of the day having tea or coffee in the spacious sitting room. Close to restaurants and historic sites. Highly recommend.

A rare gem

Large rooms with big character right in the middle of the city, at a fantastic price. There are also large additional rooms for common use (though I was there alone almost all the time) which give the accommodation the feel of a large private home from two centuries ago. I enjoyed my stay very much!

The breakfast room also provides coffee, tea, fruit and cookies all day long, and there is a microwave oven and fridge for joint-use, too
So many sorts of knaeckebrod in the supermarket round the corner!
