We got in late and check in was wonderful. They did tell us that people get lost all the time coming from the train station and yet they still don’t put signs up to show where the hotel is. Getting into your room was a challenge because he would take an elevator up to one floor have to walk across that floor to get another elevator to get to the level you were on. We cannot take one elevator straight to our floor with luggage. Breakfast was a disaster. Twice I had to try three coffee pots to get coffee. They continue to run out of plates food and was very crowded. Is the poor experience there the Room reminded us of a cruise ship room that we took 30 years ago when we had a very small room The light in the bathroom is motion activated and stays on for quite some time which is very annoying when you’re trying to go to sleep. Also, you have no option on temperature control.

This place was really wonderful. We chose one of the smaller rooms because we didn't anticipate being in the room that much. It was small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided was very extensive and delicious. The staff were super kind and helpful. It is INSIDE the train station so if you're using Apple Maps, it struggles with finding it. Our only issue is it had stated that there was a laundry facility. This was NOT true. They wanted you to walk to their sister hotel to do laundry. This was very upsetting becuase we had chosen this hotel with the laundry facility in mind.

Breakfast was very good. The room was Ok in spite of hot spell in Oslo. The old building seemed to hold coolness. I didn;t appreciate the art on the walls ;The Savage; had to look at his private area throughout a five night stay. Visitors may have different tastes and mine surely differed. Other rooms might be more acceptable.

Terrible experience, will not recommend

The hotel room had no basic items like glasses or tissue boxes. No Iron, no iron board, no water kettle. No phone in the room to call even reception. Most annoying and scaring experience was someone opened our room door at 2am and when saw from a small peep that we are awake, closed the door and ran away. We informed the reception but there was no action or no information given to us nor there was an after curious to ask about how can we help to make you feel safe and comfortable after that incident.

Great location and easy check in. We booked a twin room which did not show in their system but quickly fixed. However the hot water was set at a really hot temperature and could not be changed. Ditto for the air conditioning.

Excellent location in central Oslo. Rooms clean but spartan with little storage and no safe provided for valuables. Our room on the third floor had the view completely obstructed by a parapet wall. But the buffet breakfast was very good and you could eat it in the old station concourse with lots of space. Overall ok but avoid rooms beginning 330-.

Got into Oslo by train after 9 pm. Perfect location to go walk directly through the station and into the hotel lobby. Staff was polite and fast. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful with accommodating hours.

The location is fantastic. The layout of the hotel is a little strange but when you realize its history, it makes sense. The room was very small and basic. The breakfast has improved 100% since I stayed here last year. The problem, and it is a big one, is that there is no air conditioning. My room was almost 80F, too hot to sleep. If I had not prepaid, I would have moved to another hotel.
