Amazing, high tech hotel close to main shopping, tourist and station locations. Everything was clean and great facilities and inclusions - which included free yoga sessions, laundry room and gym! Loved our stay and would definitely come back.

Great concept pretty much self checkin and checkout. Although there was a note in my room notifying me that there is construction next door the sledgehammer sound going all the way into friday night was quite loud and uncomfortable. Unsure when that construction is done but it is certainly not quiet due to next door construction amd downtown bypasser sound and tram.

I booked for 1person, the sofa was made for a bed and I had to struggle to put it together to be able to sit somewhere. Glasses in room not all clean. Breakfast I bought through reservation was not worth! 2 cafés option - non of them opened before 8 (there was other alternatives to choose yourself/pay again, both closer and opening earlier). Location was great.

This is a great, no frills hotel right in the centre id town and close to everythi g you need and might want to see. All the doors and locks are operated by smartphone, through their website, which is a bit daunting if you haven't used a system like this before, and can cause a little bit of battery-anxiety, but ultimately it works very well. While I didn’t have much interaction with the staff, I was touched by the card they left in my room for my birthday. The area itself is a bit loud, with revellers walking down the road from the pubs round the corner, and can be heard from indoors if you're at the front of the building, but this is to be expected in such a central location (as an aside, I didn't hear a peep from the other guests in the hotel)

Central stay in Oslo

I stayed for two nights but tried out two different rooms as there were some maintenance problems with my first roof - broken tiles on the shower floor, which should now be fixed. Things I liked: using the insta camera provided in the room; the lovely toiletries; the comfy bed in the pocket room (generous in width for a single bed); the coffee and cloth bag. Things I didn’t like: the noise from the next door construction (I realise that this isn’t the hotel’s fault and they helped me move to a room further away but it did wake me early after a late arrival the night before and it was constant); the view from the ground floor room onto a bin store courtyard where people from a neighbouring restaurant are smoking - this prevented me from opening my window. The hotel was also quite hot and duvets were provided for the beds - sheets would have been helpful as the rooms were warm. Practicalities: Bob W is very centrally located - a 5 min walk from the main train station and close to bakeries, restaurants and shops. It is really easy to travel around Oslo on the bus with many stops close by. (The Vy train app helped with booking train and bus tickets in advance.) The customer service team are quick to respond via What’s app and they were good at resolving problems. I had no problem with the phone-based entry system.

Great hotel and location

Everything was wonderful with the exception of it was very hot but after leaving Oslo this I don’t think was unique to this hotel. Most places didn’t have AC but they need to work on getting more air movement at the very least. All that being said the location was amazing the communication was great. I would recommend staying there but know if the weather is warm the room will reflect that too.

There was no kelinex or tissue in oir room. There was also only earl gray tea in our room. English breakfast tea is a common tea to provide in hotels and I could not get it in the room or in lobby.

Good hotel

Very nice room and bathroom, very clean. The only downside was the room was on the top floor, just below the roof and it was hot day and night. A fan or AC would be a good idea to bear the heat in summer.
