I have stayed in 4-5 different properties in Whitby/Oshawa over the past 10 years... usually returning to the ones where I am most confortable. I discovered this place end of 2024 and had a great stay. I also just returned from this location yesterday and it is my new #1 spot. The hotel has been recently renovated/modernized. It is very clean. The free breakfast is quite nice as well. I hope to exclusively stay here going forward... but... it's often sold out... so people must know it's a good spot. PS: manager Marsden is also an excellent staff member.

We were here for a night and reached the property early due to the snow storm. The staff was very accommodating and nice as they let us check in 4 hours earlier from 3pm check in time. A special shout out to the gentleman at the front desk as he was very kind and accommodating. The room was cozy, nice with some nice amenities. This location was convenient too as we were visiting thermea spa nearby. The only downside of this hotel (not the staff’s fault) was that there were too many kids making noise on our floor in the lobby at night. Other than that, pleasant stay! :)

The Holiday Inn Express is convenient, yet quiet. The rooms were clean, and the bed was comfy. The staff was respectful and friendly. The continental breakfast was enough to help you start your day.
