What a wonderful stay!

The house is perfect. We loved the whole place; cooked several meals, went swimming and did laundry. We (four 70 year olds) enjoyed spending a week here, traveling to Orvieto a few days, Todi and a few other sights. Very responsIve hosts and a great week in Umbria!

Fantastic stay!

It has been a wonderful stay at this location. The combination of the house, garden, pergola and swimming pool made it a fantastic vacation for us and our two young kids (4 and 1 yr old). Next to the house, the area of Umbria offers a lot of nice visits (lakes and villages). Communication up front (Guido) and during our stay (Andrea) was excellent, helpful and always without delay. I can truly recommend this location, we had a very nice vacation

Beautiful property

This is a beautiful house located a little south of Tuscany, lying in between the hills and meadows. The grounds are beautiful with the pool as a highlight. The grounds are surrounded by a fence and so are nice and private. The house has everything one would need and as appears in the pictures. Daily excursions are easy drives in different directions, and could go further if one doesn't mind driving. Mr. Andrea was very welcoming and helpful. Guido is highly responsive with all the information needed. We spent a very satisfying week at the house and were sad to leave.

The real Italian feeling.

We had a great stay is this beautiful house. It is the perfect location to enjoy Orvieto, Bolsena Lake (Both 15 minutes) and within 75 minutes you are in Rome. The house has different levels outside and with a baby that crawls, it sometimes was a challenge. But the garden was so pretty and colouful. Everything was perfect and clean. Andrea checkt if everything was ok regularly and even brought a microwave. So friendly. Ik really recommend this house.

Andrea, der Eigentümer, hat uns vorab schon via Whatsapp kontaktiert und Informationen zur Anreise geschickt. Man erreicht das Grundstück teilweise über unbefestigte Straßen, die aber in sehr gutem Zustand sind und völlig unproblematisch auch mit einem größeren Auto befahren werden können. Haus und Grundstück waren sehr sauber und gut gepflegt. In unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft befinden sich zwei bis drei weitere Häuser, insgesamt war es aber sehr ruhig. Orvieto, Bolsena und Bagnioregio sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen, ebesno wie mehrerer Restaurants. Da die Straßen/Wege in der Umgebung kaum befahren werden, kann man dort auch sehr gut mit dem Hund spazieren gehen oder Joggen. Andrea kam mehrmals in der Woche, um den Pool zu pflegen, aber immer sehr früh am Morgen, um uns nicht zu stören. Insgesamt haben wir unseren Urlaub sehr genossen.

Casa situata a Torre San Severo sopra le colline di Orvieto Lontano dal caos e per chi cerca la tranquillita' Casa spaziosa con giardino ben curato e una bellissima Piscina il tutto ben recintato. Particolarmente adatta per chi ha figli piccoli e amici a 4 Zampe. Molto comoda per visitare diversi posti Bolsena/Orvieto/Civita di Bagnoregio molto piu' distante La cascata delle marmore. I due host Guido e Andrea sono due persone speciali, In particolar modo un ringraziamento a Andrea che e' la Persona che ci ha Accolto all'arrivo e' sempre stato Disponibile e Premuroso nei nostri confronti , molto Discreto la sera quando veniva a mettere il robot x pulire La piscina e la mattina a toglierlo Ci siamo trovati benissimo e la consigliamo un Saluto Alfredo e Katia

Nice and pleasant stay in a beautiful place

The house is located in a quiet and beautiful place in the countryside, at close distance from Orvieto city and Bolsena lake. It is convenient to visit various sites, including the beautiful cascade, Assisi, Perugia, and of course the lake and Orvieto. We found the house was very clean, and the garden is nice with many flowers. The pool location is very pleasant and Guido and Andrea are making sure the water stays clear during the week. The external dining area is fantastic, with always a bit of fresh wind and shadow from the plantations so you can use it at any hours. The communication with Guido and Andrea is always good and they were very reactive to answer our questions. Thank you! Just to mention a minor point (to us at least) : the description may need an update, as there is no microwave and the third bedroom is more a cabinet than an actual room. I recommand this house if you wish to experience dolce vitæ, with one special mention to the lake and Bolsena village where the sunset is so nice and you can experience good drink and food at reasonable price.

Cette coquette maison est située au calme dans un environnement valloné ! Tout est présent pour le repos: terrasse, piscine, calme, climatisation des chambres... Le propriétaire, toujours disponible, veille au bien être des locataires. Les prestations sont excellentes : entretien de la piscine, ménage inclu ... Pour les visites, Orivieto est proche et un peu de route pour les villes telles Perugia... Deux magnifiques lacs sont à proximité ! Donc je recommande vivement !

Very nice house near Orvieto and Bolsena

Villa is well maintained and equipped (air conditioning, Wi-fi, dishwasher, washing machine...etc). Location is quiet and relaxing (all for our sole use). Great place for families with young children (the fenced pool area was very useful for us). Owners are very helpful. Pool is excellent. The villa is 10 minutes drive from the lake and the city of Orvieto (15 minutes from the highway). I would whole-heartedly recommend this property and hope to return soon.

Lovely Villa in a peaceful location

Apologies I've written a lot more than I initially intended.. This is a lovely villa which has been tastefully decorated in a traditional style. We stayed here with our 3 children aged 3, 4 and 13 and they really enjoyed the lovely outdoor space and pool which is fully fenced. The property is very peaceful and situated between Orvieto and Bolsena (a car is essential). It was lovely waking up here and felt very safe and secure. The outdoor space is lovely especially the dining area which is raised with some nice views. The kids also loves the chair swing and the hammock. Very relaxing, especially at night when stargazing! Lake Bolsena is lovely and definitely worth a visit however Bolsena itself was quiet (late August), if you're looking for something livlier we'd recommend visiting the other side of the lake where you will find Capodimonte (40 mins) - a lovely area with lake side cafes and both boat and bike hire. Montefiascone is also a lively area with various bars and restaurants. Orvieto really is beautiful, a real hidden gem and with it not being as busy as Rome, Florence etc you can really enjoy it at your own pace. Best local bar is Bar Obelix in the small village of Tamburino on the way to Orvieto, this is a bustling Italian local with great service and atmosphere, and great simple food (pizza, light bites, paninis etc). The five of us had drinks, pizzas, desserts, sides, snacks and cocktails for around €45. We also visited the Ristorante Girarrosto with a great view overlooking Orvieto but to be honest we paid 3 times more and didn't enjoy it half as much. On one of our days out we drove to Rome (1hr 15) and took the metro from Rebibbia station which got us to the colosseum in around 15 minutes. Parking at the station costs €1 for up to 12 hours and we found the metro system straightforward to use and good value. Just a few points about the villa that would have made a great place excellent: The wifi is hosted from the owners house across the road and due to the house being sunken is intermittent in the property and only slightly better outside, we weren't able to stream. The pool is in the sun 12 - 5pm and struggles to get warm during this time. The air conditioning units are upstairs in the two bedrooms. There was only one UK TV channel, BBC world news. There wasn't a great deal of information on the local area or attractions so it's essential you do your research before you get there. All in all the location of the villa is in a lovely part

Wir haben unsere Ferien in diesem hübschen Haus sehr genossen. Der Garten ist unterteilt in drei Ebenen. Er ist äusserst funktional und schön gepflegt. Prunkstück war das Schwimmbad. Es ist durch eine Gartentür abgeschlossen und kann von Kleinkindern nicht geöffnet werden. Da das gesamte Grundstück umzäunt ist, ermöglicht es insbesondere Eltern von Kleinkindern einen erholsamen Urlaub! Wir würden sofort wieder hingehen!

Maison très agréable

Une maison très agréable dans un cadre tout aussi agréable. La gentillesse et la discrétion des propriétaires est à souligner. La maison était propre à notre arrivée et la piscine nettoyée à de nombreuses reprises durant notre séjour. La région est chouette. La maison est située à une centaine de kms de Rome. Il est donc très facile de s'y rendre (route ou train). Les restaurants dans le coin sont pas mal. A conseiller vraiment !

Wunderschön!

Wir waren total happy im "Casa Andrea". Andrea - der Hausbesitzer - wohnt direkt nebenan. Wenn es irgendein Problem gibt, ist er gleich da und löst es. Das "Anwesen" ist wunderschön angelegt, super sauber, alles da, was man braucht. Wir waren mit zwei kleinen Kindern (1+2 Jahre) dort. Der Pool ist abgezäunt und durch die verschiedenen Ebenen hat man die Kids recht gut unter Kontrolle und muss auch nicht ständig hinterher gehen ... ausser zum Aufräumen ;) Die Betten sind gut, aber leider sehr laut. Ein empfindlicheres Baby/Kleinkind wacht im Elternzimmer auf, wenn sich ein Elternteil umdreht, denn die Betten knarren richtig laut und bei der kleinsten Bewegung. Wünschenswert wäre eine Sitzgelegenheit im "untersten Garten" gewesen, denn mit kleinen Kindern ist der grosse Tisch auf der ersten Ebene (so toll er auch ist!) etwas mühsam, da man die Kinderstühle immer rauf und runtertragen muss. Ein bisschen schade war, dass der Pool schon recht kühl war, da er im September relativ lang im Schatten liegt und sich nicht mehr richtig aufheizt.

Peaceful retreat, well managed

Lovely traditional house in the countryside. You need a car but the surrounding area has much to offer. We visited Assisi and Orvieto among others. We also took the train to Rome for a long day sightseeing but it was just about doable and quite a few more tourists were doing the same journey. The outdoor space makes this property worth it- a lovely pool cleaned 3 times a week and outside eating area plus lawn. It is also well fenced for younger children. Our teenagers loved the pool. Andrea the owner lives near by and is most helpful. With the help of google translate we communicated very well! He is always on hand- he sorted a problem with the wifi very promptly- but very much leaves you to enjoy your holiday. Perfect holiday

This vacation was a great trip. A real good Location for families. I travelled with my Family (2 adults + 3 children) and everything was perfect. A very warm welcome. Also the Region, espiacilly Orieto is great for Holiday. Thanks a lot
